i like B2S a lot, especially that tune strange; how many bands can even claim they are from friggin Idaho anyway?

i also cant get enough of Davey Knowles and Back Door Slam. watch him bend the guitar neck -------------------------------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50DbjogXuyc

Default you get 2 cause its friday!

a special one from the vault!
this is historically one of the best Black Crowes shows of all time. brothers chris and rich robinson got in a fistfight mere minutes before the show began and the show, entire tour, and the future of the band was nearly cancelled. someone sugggested that they make this the last show so the brothers agreed and one of the roadies suggested they open with an acoustic version of cursed diamond with just the two of them on stage. the story is that this song saved the band (sounds a bit like an apology for years of trouble fwiw), and if you listen to it its not hard to believe. the rest of the band came out and put on a seriously kick ass show. Probably the best version of Thorn in my Pride (my personal fav BC tune) ever recorded which includes some sick sick sick reverb mouth harp from chris. also notable are the graham parsons (she) and muddy waters (champ and reefer) covers.

it is a quick download, and well worth it for the first 4 tracks alone.

Just picked up a couple more bootlegs today:

Rolling Stones- Unreleased Decca Live Album 1972
Rolling Stones- Rocks Off! live from Australia 1973

For those who don't know, 1972-73 are considered to be the Stones peak performing years and many fans have been asking for an official live release from this era for many years. Take a look for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euOrnZZkzKg
Jackknife / Nerft Powers / Born Again Pagan / Threechords / Midnyght Rambler
