My original character currently is a human sorc. I like him a lot but he is in no way ready for end game content. (I build him like I would a pnp character back when I was a newbie..so his dex is high (i though there were touch-attacks) and his charisma isn't maxed (as doing so in pnp is sup standard, see the need for dex)
Being a causal player though I'm not going to re roll my original character (the only character I have about 8th after all) but do want to make a character that is my preferred playing style (ala a caster)
I have enjoyed soloing content at higher level so a more reliably survival rate would be nice, Thus I'm thinking of going for a WF sorc as my attempt to make a character I actually feel comfy bringing into non-guild run (and thus more laid back) raids/end game content.
I am wondering then, how does healing factor into WF spell selection? What repair spells are worth taking when? I assume you get rid of any you have when you finally get access to reconstruct, but do you take it first over FtS or etc?
Do you want to have the best healing spell you can up until lvl 12? Is having one a level or two behind alright?
Or do you just use wands and never take the spells at lower levels?
Also, for those who have experience with it, is it worth investing in FoD/PK? My old sorc had the same starting stats I'll have on a wf, and he seems to do just fine but its worth asking.
