Ipod won the roll for Tharne's Goggles in my A Vision of Destruction raid, last night. Prey (for whom the Goggles had dropped) turned them over to him, and Ipod turned them over to Amelica, who had the second-best roll for them. I knew Amelica had been after the Goggles for a long time, and I wanted to send out a public thank you to Ipod for being willing to pass on loot that he had won, and could have taken for himself, but didn't.

I knew Amelica had been after the Goggles for a long time, and I wanted to send out a public thank you to Ipod for being willing to pass on loot that he had won, and could have taken for himself, but didn't.

Ipod is a class act. He is a great player and good person and its a pleasure to be in a guild with him and quite a few other players just as good.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing, then I read it again.

Since the second best roll wasn't skipped to give the loot to the third best, it wouldn't be the same as the previous arguments.

Come on now altar you know **** well that it wasn't about the loot it was the fact that it was and er and a A&O that is why there was such an argument about it.... I really expect to see more hate towards me after yesterday's shroud raid LOL!

I was ready to break out the hate, but I too realized that it went to the second highest roller, like Ink mentioned.

It does beg the question as to why Ipod rolled. Was he intending on giving the loot to a friend, or did he accidentally realize after the fact that he didn't want them, so he just passed them on to the second highest? Obviously, the first reason is no good... I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume the second reason is what happens.

I agree and I really do believe it was on the up and up. I just want it pointed out so that when it's someone else maybe the haters will give them the benefit of the doubt as well.

Who gives a sh!t... everyone will have it all soon anyways and just be running the raids for completions like I do...Who cares...

To answer the questions in this thread, there were about six rolls on the Goggles. I wasn't clear as to why Ipod rolled on them, but since he won the roll, Prey quite correctly passed them to him.

All but three spots in the raid were members of The Hand of the Black Tower, I believe.
