Wink Demondim Slayer (Mod 9 TWF Multi)

1st - Thanks to Borror0 for his suggestion of a layout, hope its right for you man.

I made this build to take advantage of the synergy of the Ranger FE + Tempest + Knight of the Chalice. I've always had a soft spot for paladins with evasion. I really wish that I could have gone 9 Ranger and 12 Paladin but that's lvl 21. This build is designed to be good TWF DPS, excelent vs Evil Outsiders. This build will not be hard for new players to make either as it uses a Drow. Grind out that 400 favor and jump on the bandwagon! The reason I went with Drow was for stat placement. It's hard with a human or other class to meet the Charisma requirement of 16 for Paladin Divine Might II. Drow was the best choice for this and other stat placement.

    Paladin 12 / Ranger 6 / Monk 2
    Race: Drow
    Alignment: Lawful Good

    Stats:
    16 Str + 6 item + 4 level = 26 Str
    16 Dex +1 Tome +6 Item = 23 Dex
    12 Con + 6 item = 18 Con
    10 Int
    10 Wis +6 item = 16 Wis
    14 Cha + 2 Favor Tome +6 Item = 22 Cha

Reason for such a high Cha is primarly for the use of Divine Might II, which requires you to have a 16 (Starting Base + Tome) Charisma. It also adds a few points to your already exceptional saves.

    Feats:
    • 1. Dodge
    • 3. Power Attack
    • 4. (Monk) Mobility

    Skills:

Biggest skills to keep up are UMD and Intimidate. When taking your palain levels your going to be putting those 2 skillpoints into these skills every lvl. For your Monk levels you dump all stat points into balance. For your Ranger levels your going to be maxing UMD and Intim and after your 2nd Monk lvl your going to be putting 2 points per lvl into Balance to keep it up. Extra points should go into jump.

    • UMD:

      +4 Greater Heroism
      38 Balance

    Hit points:

    HP from lvls:
    Paladin: 120

    +10 Draconic Toughness
    +20 Heroic Duribility
    +60 Constitution Bonus
    +45 Greensteel Helm Bonus
    ------------------------
    439 HP Total

    Saving throws:

    Code:

Base Saves: Fortitude: +16 Reflex: +12 Willpower: +9
    Con, Dex, Wis bonus: +4 +6 +3
    Paladin Charisma bonus: +6 +6 +6
    Luck bonus: +2 +2 +2
    Paladin Aura: +4 +4 +4
    Resistance: +5 +5 +5
    Total Saves: +41 +45 +42
Saves aren't much of a problem with this character as can be expected. I would have like to have hit +50 Reflex Save for some of the nastier traps but that would require being hasted +1, and having the good luck to get a +4 Dex Tome (+2) and +4 Charisma Tome (+1 All Saves). Possible but who know with Mod 9.

The main reason I went with this build is for the damage with Mineral II Khopesh's against Devils.

    1d10 Base Dmg
    +5 Enhancement Bonus
    +6 Favored Enemy Damage
+2d6 Knight of the Chalice II
    +5 Power Attack
    +2d6 Holy
    +2 Ram's Might
+4 Sacred Damage (Divine Might II)
    +1 Force Damage Ritual
    +11 STR Damage
    ------------------------------------
Minimum: 39 Damage per hit vs Evil Outsiders.

Build will have good saves, AC, and evasion. Thinking of taking OTWF @ lvl 18 any other thoughts on feat to take @ 18 will be appreciated. Perhaps Extend for Ram's might? Or Force of Personality to boost my Will Saves?

Now just to find 2x +5 Holy Burst Silver Kopesh of Greater Evil Outsider Banes and I'll be set.

Yeah but Wu Jen was acting like it's going to be two-handed. I want to know why or how he knows.

Evidently Eladrin has pretty confirmed the Holy Avenger will be a LONGSWORD in DDO.
