    Default tier 4

well at least we get tier 4 of our stances. Thats something right guys So would that be a full 10% increase of attack speed with tier 4 of windstance? Anyways just thought I would share a little bright spot for fellow monks out there that may not have known.

<Bursting Damage Type> Handwraps of Weighted 5% and Bursting damage rings?
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

Because bursting weapons work great on 20x2 weapons? Bursting is probably the worst option for us. I hope they put better options on rings (which are a poor replacement for greensteel), but either way you wont be using weighted in raids.

Besides... why the excitement over weighted? They said they will work on (said that a long time ago) expect it in mod 10 not mod 9, you have a long time to wait im sure.

What about Bursting 2-20/x2 weapons! (You know, when you hit something with that Stunning Fist feat.) Seeker would also be nice but you can get seeker on other slots. So my monk gets Holy Burst, Shocking Burst, Anarchic or Axiomatic Burst, Force Crit Ritual and Weighted 5% on each hit. I'm still trying to see the downside here...

And, yes, I won't be using weighted on red named. I guess I'll need to switch to greater banes in that case.

We're excited because the devs have finally stated that they are working on giving monks an item to bump up their Stunning Fist DCs. (Which is something they have never stated before.) I know my elf is going to see a Stunning Fist DC of 38ish when it gets fixed.

The down side is Monks crit on a 20 for x2 damage. That means bursting has the least to offer a monk. Unless we get an expanded crit range, leave the bursting out and give us better options for overcoming dr for rednames. I can already tear through trash mobs What monks need, is more usefulness in raids. Bursting on weapon that crits on a 20 and has x2 damage is not all that exciting.

Woo Hoo thanks for pointing out the obvious. Unarmed fighting is still a 20 for crits. Yes feats may increase the range, but when referring to the crit range of the weapon, I was referring to the weapon.

You use improved crit Blunt? Never felt it was worth it myself. Between Stunning Fist/Weighted 5% it just didn't seem that important.

Yes yes, you can't stun Red/Purple named mobs. Boo hoo, my DPS is already seriously lagging on those, just don't see a 5% increase in crit x 2 being all that big a boost. I mean seriously, one crit by a fully raged Barbarian (no I never checked the numbers, it's called exaggerating for effect) makes up for every single crit I would've rolled with IC: Bludgeon.
