this is in regard to llama land. if TDM isnt working and you DO NOT HAVE VISTA!!!

then try this...

If no, uninstall the TDM. Then go to my computer. Then open local disk C:. Then click program files. Then select turbine. Then select Lammania. Scroll down. Toward the bottom you will see a file with a DDO logo call Turbine Invoker. Double click that to run it. This will make Lammania download the old way and you will be playing in no time. I hope that helps.

This information was given to me by Ghirmeshk of sarlona. i did this and it is currently loading oldschool DDO style! instead of it taking 40 hours... it takes 4 :3!!!!!!

please look into it if you have problems.

As far as greyed out characters go, that indicates that you haven't completed the main download.
