A shrine to Dave!

With the passing of Dave Arneson I would like to request a small shrine be placed in game to commemorate him.

Those that knew Dave appreciated his ability to draw players into his stories he told as a GM. He knew when to raise his and when to be a quiet as a mouse. But Dave was more than a GM, his love for nautical adventure and daring on the high seas was just as important. So might I suggest a shrine in the lower harbor over looking seas and arrival and departure of ships into and out of the harbor? Maybe one where he can watch the Sun rise and fall over the Thunder Sea.

Everything else just has him in the hospital - granted not in good shape, but no official word anywhere yet.

Dave is officially gone now. He passed away tuesday night at 11pm. Those of you who know who he was and what he did for RPG's in general, not to mention his huge contribution to DnD specifically, will probably want to raise a glass, take a moment of silence and thank him. Those of you who love role playing games and don't know who he is, may want to do some google research - we lost a great one.

I would also like to see a static end reward for Thernal that provides a unique set bonus with the Voice of the Master. IMHO the Voice is an item that should never be nerfed, overwritten or replaced. Why? Because invariably at the end of a Delaras run DDO players will wind up having a conversation about Gary. I think Dave deserves an item that is just as attention grabbing.
