Does anyone remember around mod 4 when Fear was changed so a Feared enemy would run away then cower in the nearest corner? When a barbarian could wear Fearsome armour and intimidate without being accused of griefing? It was brilliant, some sorcs even carried the spell because it actually worked as per the description:

An invisible cone of terror causes each living enemy in an area to become panicked. Cornered enemies cower. A successful Will save causes enemies to become shaken.
It was a glorious month but then Feared enemies were silently changed back to the constantly fleeing annoyance we have today.

Can we have the old fix back? Please?
