    Default Rerolled Heal Bot

    Considering rerolling my clr due to gimped life. He was made years ago when Con used to not be as popular. Looking for a pure heal bot who has a main offense using BB. Open to suggestions.

    You don't need heighten or quicken on a healbot. They just wastes mana on your Heal spell. However, since yer lookin for a BB spec'd healbot and not gonna have AC and concentration doesn't actually help, then maybe a situational quicken is acceptable.

    You don't need empower heal either since you have empower (only the heal spell is not affected by empower and it doesn't need metas).

    I would recommend swapping heighten for extend, emp heal for spell pen (since yer not gonna be able to roam effectively in part 1 of shroud without it), if it were me I would also swap quicken for greater spell pen or toughness.

    My human healbot has the following feats:
    toughness, extend, max, emp, spell pen, gr spell pen, mental toughness

    I would also recommend dropping con to 14 and up dex and str to 10. even with 10 starting con on my human healbot, he is still sitting at 260hp with only imp false life item and no shroud hp item. More than enough for any healbot which makes me question how gimped your current healbot really is?!?

    Totally disagree. Quicken is necessary, heighten is a nice luxury (especially when the cap goes up and you can use it on your blade barriers, greater commands, symbols, etc.). Even for nuking undead it is nice to have heighten. Spell pen also rocks, so don't want to discourage you there. I would personally swap the cha and str, since it takes very little str to be able to help vorpal (this does not make you a battle cleric, this just makes shroud go faster!) and makes it easier to carry loot. Definitely your call there.

    quicken isn't necessary unless you or your cleric sucks.

    heighten has uses, but is not needed at level 16 cap. We can only guess as to its requirement as the cap goes up, but guess what? We get a new feat at 18 where ya can take it then if it becomes necessary.

    Your stats are right on, no need to change those at all.

    I'd suggest switching Toughness for Spell Pen, and possibly Empower for Greater Spell Pen. If you like to CC, the change it worth-while, even if it's just switching out Toughness. Run it up to end game, if you see you're using Greater Commands, make that swap.

    Now, you could take out Heighten for a spell pen, but heightened Soundburst is a personal favourite, so that's not a change I'd suggest.

    It'll be perfectly find endgame. Some people like Quicken, some don't. Some people like Heighten, some don't. But, either way, you'll be fine.

    If you are actually meaning to be a healbot, take empower healing instead of empower. It's 5 less mana per cast of your heal spells, which is a lot over time.

    Appreciate the advice. Some of you are not grasping the concept that Heighten/Empower is to increase BB damage and reduce saves, of course soundburst is very nice heightened. Towards Lymnus, I did consider taking out Toughness although it would take me down around 50 hp. Quicken is a possible switch out for spell pen. since I hardly ever use it on my current heal bot. Basically I want a clr that can heal, yet when times get tough can also provide some sort of damage/cc without getting into melee combat.

    no it isn't necessary. neither is so much con, wiz, or w/e. it is nice to have for soloing or in some situations. it isn't like it is stuck on all the time.. just put points into concentrate and then swap on a concentration item when the casting speed isn't desired.

    i wouldn't spec for dvs but if that is what you want, gl. if you run out of sp and are alone you are going to be about worthless.

    i also think taking empower, maximize and empower healing is over kill. might consider taking mental toughness instead of empower.
