Dear Mr. Ed 7.0??
I can understand that due to lack of exposure; to being forced to play a game in it's diaper-age, also a framed-type game in days of little or no information superhighway, Xenophobia and just getting off the high from winning the Space Race Old School D&D Players have a "Purist" mentality and creating something unique and more effective can be a challenge....... BUT don't assume a Multi-Class Build is a Min-Maxer. Monstrosity? If well done You bet.
Allow me to explain - My Portfolio:
Bruttus Chaosbane - Dwarven Paladin 12 Fighter 4 - 69 Unbuffed-Undispellable-Unboosted & "Non-Insight Weapon Dependent" AC, 30 STR; Khopesh S&B IntimiTank (44 now 62 by L20); 482 HP's; UMD 26. Feats Include: Power Attack, Cleave, Extend.
End Build: Paladin 14 Fighter 4 Rogue 2 (Evasion will only be used on specific quests / situations as it would require swapping to DTLeather I haven't worked on yet...)
Gregorius Chaosbane - Human Cleric 11 Paladin 3 Fighter 2 - 28 STR, 54 AC, Longsword S&B "Holy Tactics Warrior - Not Battle Cleric"; 396 HP; 32 WIS; 1280 SP's; Feats include: Extend, Maximize, Empower (not healing), Quicken, Power Attack, Cleave.
End Build: Haven't decided if Cleric 13 Paladin 5 Fighter 2 or Cleric 12 Paladin 6 Fighter 2 (2 PrE's would make this guy VERY nice at the cost of 7th level Cleric Spells, SP's, etc...)
Arkkanoz Chaosbane - Drow Wizard 14 Rogue 2 - 37 INT (for now) 1500 SP's, 296 HP's, Reflex Save 33, All MetaMagic Feats worth having and Self Healing (UMD-Heal Scrolls), If Traps and Rogue Skills EVER become important this build will give any Rogue out there a run for his Plat.

I'll repeat my closing statement from a few posts ago just for you Mr Ed 7.0 (seven re-rolls?)
Some classes should multi-class and others shouldn't,
some people should multi-class and others definitely not.
Level 20 Cap and capstones have made multiclassing a bit more debatable, because Purists have capstones to fall back on as a safety cushion that their way is the right way, and thats fine with me,
the last thing I want is a world setting where I'm die-roll dependent to perform well.
