    Default Weekly Live Events

I am sure you have pondered this sort of idea but maybe don't realize the potential it may have, but having weekly events that involved interaction of the users can really give it a unique feel. In that, you can break out of the mold of other MMOs.

It would also add to the level of play this game could provide for maxed out characters, breathing life back into those often retired toons. What cooler way to keep a few veterans around than for higher leveled live events, and since we have adventure zones we could use those areas.

It's just an idea. You could also do a "chase" event where you have a named one running through town and those who catch him can get a reward, with his position being a random location.

    Just food for thought.

This has been suggested multiple times, all withot response, we have a very robust live event engine, but Turbine seems reluctant to use it at all

I doubt that Turbine has the staff to pull off weekly events. And, all things being considered.. I'm not sure they'd go over well.

Turbine has done multiple live events... most have ended badly.

I’m afraid a good live event takes more than a week of prep time. Sorry!

Sometimes quantity is better than quality.

Even just some random devil spawns (at various timezone times) in the marketplace would be an awesome feel to the game.

Wow yet guild wars manage it every week. So what you are saying is that the guild wars devs are better then the ddo devs.

Hmm. Maybe I shouldn't be keeping that piece of kryptonite in my desk drawer after all.

They don't have to be epic live events.
