lol, I'm not falling for that one again. It is not 1939 and I don't HAVE to choose that party to group with.
possibly a reference to this:
In August 1939, following the failure of attempts to negotiate a treaty with Great Britain and France for mutual assistance and military support to protect the USSR from an invasion by Adolf Hitler, the Soviet Union abandoned its attempts to achieve collective security agreements, which was the basis of Maxim Maximovich Litvinov's foreign policy during the 1930s. Instead, Soviet leaders sought an accommodation with Germany

Why would you vote for turbine over nintendo? granted its fun to vote and win something, but atm it just makes turbine more lax about neglecting us, in the last 6 month ddo has had alot of bad lag and some rough/long down times.
If I were to vote I would so vote for nintendo, as they care how ppl see them and if there product is having problems, also I wonder if ddo is still funding lotr, if so it needs to stop, we pay for ddo not lotr.(same applys for ddo, if ddo or lotr cant stand on its own funding by now then you should probably let it die.)
Nintendo doesnt care if they lose they know they dominate, no contest needed.
Where as Turbine needs to know they need to step it up, so if you want the same service you'v had the last 6 months vote for turbine.

I understand you fanboi's (and gals) are all out here doing your best to get the community to go out and vote...but has it ever occurred to you that maybe some people are just kind of sick and tired of hearing it by now? Heck, I'm not voting coz you're telling me to, there I said it, are you happy now?
Seriously, does your lobbying pay per commission or hourly? Time to rethink your tact here and let thise people decide whether or not they will vote, considering all that has happened this week...I'm all for being passionate about something, but not to the extent where it demands you to do something NOW....
Surely you have something better to do with your time...and should Turbine lose to Nintendo, so be it, I think I will end up not losing too much sleep over it, actually I probably won't lose any sleep over it, heck Valve should have won, Bethesda should have won and if they had I wouldn't be typing this to you which would have saved me alot of trouble typing this to you...
Drama is not Turbine losing to Nintendo, that's what we call Karma...
I know those DDO Players who hate the game and oppose every public expression of support for it are the cool kids and that being bored with everything in the world is a character trait that the really wealthy and attractive women are attracted to, but here's one way you may be able to understand how an expression of support for the game I've played for three years means a potentially better game:
Free Marketing.
Given that Turbine has egregiously neglected (for three years) to promote this game, the result has been that the gaming community doesn't know that this game exists, never mind that its graphics, character build flexibility and combat system are the best available.
Many people have taken issue with the pace of Development and technical issues. What's the cure for these problems? More players.
At its heart, DDO is a game that is here because a business concern is making it available to subscribers in the hope that it will turn a profit for its investors. The more players there are (read: subscribers, aka income), the more money there is to invest in things like better servers (to address technical issues), graphic artists, developers, and customer service representatives.
The passive aggressive approach of thumbing your nose at those who actively support this game and are willing to be public advocates for it will not help to bring in new customers, hire new development people, give much-needed raises to the current employees, hire new people to maintain the game, or to advance Turbine as a successful business concern.

Voted again for Turbine, but we're getting crushed!! If we lose to Nintendo I'm gonna vote for them in the finals, just because they beat us.

I don't see why not. They have not shown us any love over there since day one. If we lose, they would be more upset that we helped get Nintendo the final victory than us winning outright. They do not like Nintendo, all the more reason in the next round to give them that very thing they hate more than us. Bitterness? No. We already won by getting DDO known better. I am sure that those in DDO who voted against Turbine this whole time would at least be on board with getting Nintendo as the final victor if we lose this round. They got their protest by having Turbine lose, why not work as one in the final battle as one unit? Show them how only we can trash talk each other, not outsiders trash talking us. :P

Really? That would be a shame, wouldn't it? To me, what greater honor would it be if we /saluted the very Developer who beat us this round, Nintendo? We can show our humble respect by voting for them in round 5 and...it won't be out of spite but out of respect to the one who bested us. Right?
