All of us are unhappy with Turbine at times, I want mod 9 as much as the next guy...maybe even more so. Yet any problem or issue we have with them should not be used to cloud our judgement of their work and giving us such a wonderful game.

It is just like family. You might not get along with them well all the time, yet when someone trash talks them you are right by their sides with all the love you have for them. And you support them regardless of how you feel right now about them.

It is how I feel about this contest.

Well put, Q. Also, the community at Escapist is actually beginning to warm up to us a little. I think if we are civil and smart, we've really got a shot of not just winning, but of bringing in some new blood.

I noticed that as well. They are slowly starting to warm up but some...well, we can't do much for them. Regardless of if we win this or not, bringing in new blood AND getting DDO/Turbine's name out there is worth it.

I'd like to think we have a shot at winning but we have the deck stacked against us. We have the haters from last year, DDO players mad about Mod 9 not being out, all the ones that lost to Turbine each round all gathering steam and making it harder each round we go through. So, this and the last round will only be that much more difficult.

Although it helps when they flame and troll us over there since the more viscious and trash talking they write about us, the more players of Turbine games get worked up and vote just to spite those haters. Their trash talk actually works in our favor, more than they know.

If we can get our servers to maintain some form of operational nominal coupled with the release notes on Friday (psychic) I think the DDO Tahutzi Tribe will be appeased by the Turbine Tolerta Tribal Council. (T^Cubed)tm.

This may not be as hard as it looks. Anyone put on probation or banned during the next round will have their votes removed. If we are civil and they are not, they will be eliminated . . . as will their votes. This development was posted earlier today and it plays in our favor.

I cannot vote for Turbine against Nintendo at this stage. If the servers can stay up for more than 24 hours I will revise my position.

This was actually a tough decision. Nintendo was, well Nintendo. I dont have to really mention anything else i would think.

In the end i'm going for Turbine, for the following reasons:

First and foremost, our community is second to none. The last round proved it beyond a doubt and i'll support it, even if i dont agree with it.

Second, I'm not voting for a game that i'm not currently playing. Ddo has captured me for three years and there must be a reason for it. Nintendo has not, and there must be a reason for that. SImple enough.

Third, i've had about enough of some comments against our community, and i'm in the mood to kick a little arse during the next couple days.

Fourth, all of the above and probably more i'm too tired to think of is way more important than how i feel about game issues. Period. You have your opinion, i have mine.
