great question.... hmm...... to be fair in the case of a miracle of me pulling one of these items which should be a 1 in 12 chance.. ill meet the party half way........... there would a roll off and
if i pull the ring top 3 rolls get a scale
if i pull the belt top 2 rolls get a scale
if i pull the gloves top roll would get a scale

Seems bogus. If they lead you through the RAID, they should get the full deal. If you pull them yourself in THEIR RAID, you should pay up. And in VEGAS, when someone wins big, they also tip the dealer. So, I think you should throw an extra scale per item for their trouble. As a matter of fact, I have just reported you to the coin lords for not reporting all your winnings on your tax returns! There are a detachment of kobolds on their way to your place now to collect up, so you have no scales to offer, only bones.

Just kiddin ... good luck with that. The belt is the most coveted thing in my guild. We get downright ferocious on the rare occasions that bad boy drops! We got folks pushing 60 runs and no belt.
