and a Warforged looted it. I chewed him out in /tells, and he said he was going to transfer it to an alt with an exploit he knew to transfer bound stuff. Of course, this was after several people had expressed interest in it.

Well on top of that he rolled on the wisdom helm and won, and then looted the robe and bailed, so in the end in a group with 3 clerics he decided that he he could use the helm as well. He was allowed to roll based on the fact that the robe would go up for roll because he was Warforged.

I was very surprised at the guild tag, as I know one or 2 members well, including 1 from the forums, and they have been her from the beginning

That is pretty weak. Then again, the robe kinda blows anyway, even if it is sorta nice looking.

Except for the 2 robe wearers with monk splash that could actually use a level 10 armor 5 robe.

Well, we had a female (clearly a plat farmer) cleric run VOD with us the other day. First one of the worst clerics i've had the pleasure to run with. second Tharnes bracers dropped for her (+6 dex, +6 ac) and she loots them. Everyone in party starts to give her grief about looting them, she claims she was trying to pass them to someone in the group and did not know she had looted them. We all explained to her that its a 2 step process...click once to pick the item up, 2nd click to get passed these items bind message....

Just WOW.
