    Default Ideas for Ranger spells

    suggestions for ranger spells to be implemented into ddo also how to add tracking

    tracking--- make mobs show up on mini map for PC's that have a high track skill also make it a stance that will slow you down as you are doing it (like neverwinter nights 2)
    ------------------
    lvl 1 spells

    Hide from animals--- give a +50 circumstance bonus to hide and move silently vs. animals for 1 min/lvl to all within AOE spell

    pass without trace--- you and those around you do not show up on mobs "tracker"

    lvl 2 spells

    wind wall. similar to a firewall but no damage but arrows cannot go through as well as small and under creatures hehe i think there might be some problems with 1/2lings

    lvl 3 spells

    repel vermin--- vermin cannot be within 10 feet of you unless can make a will/fort save

    tree shape--- cmon... who would not want to turn themselves into trees.

    water walk--- water is solid land to anyone under this spell

    lvl 4 spells

    tree stride---- certain trees only... make teleport for rangers and have a few trees that can be used to get around ddo outside of quest only

    Actually it should be the opposite, larger creatures have less wind resistance than smaller creatures. For example, go outside on a windy day with a piece of paper and see what happens, then go outside with a sheet of plywood.

    would you become a mushroom in the underworld? I mean a tree would be out of place there dont you think?

    This would have to be a epic spell, certainly not lvl 3. Maybe a lvl 5 ranger spell? After all, only gods could walk on water

    Rangers top out at 4th level spells, there are no 5th level or higher Ranger spells.

    Repel Vermin would be a nice spell to have, nasty spiders/scorpions...

    Wind Wall would be good for Enemy Archers and Enemy Casters that cast Cloud Kill on us.

    The rest are not so appealing to me, although Water Walk would have its uses.

    As for Track, I'd like to see that implemented in game, just not so sure how they could work it into the game.

    Level 1:

    Guided Shot-Ignores Cover and Concealment for 24 seconds +6 per level (True seeing on ranged attacks for a short while)

    Wings of the Sea-as per merfolks blessing

    Level 2:

    Tremorsense-Detect Invisible Creatures in the area for 24 seconds + 6 per level


    Level 3:

    Find the Gap-For 24 seconds +2 per level attacks gain greater chance to bypass Dr, reduce enemy dr for your attacks by 1 + 1 per 4 levels

    Forestfold-Gain +10 bonus to Move silently

    Level 4:

    Foebane-Weapon gains bane against one favored enemy 1 min per level

    Planar Tolerance-Gain immunity to planar effects for 1 minute per level (I.E. PoP rooms, shavarath, etc.)

    I think I'll stick withy my bush

    I'd like a use for track, wind wall would be nice, and self haste (this is actually a spell; cant remember what its called though) too

    Lasts one round per Pnp

    I'd make it 30 seconds flat :P
