Dear maths gods.
My Paladin, a versatile build, is making a Greensteel Mineral II 2-H slasher.
The goal is simple. When the time comes to drop strategy and just beat up things with raw dmg (portals, Harry, Sulo, etc), i want a +5 Transmuting Keen Acid-Good Burst- Good Blast weapon.
I have:
Power attack
Exalted Smite 3 (critic rang +1, multip +2), 8 times
Divine Sacrifice 2 (+7d6 light dmg, multip +1) unlimited times but costs 5hp
Divine might 3 ( +6 dmg for 1 minute) 10 times
Now, the plan is simple, spend all the Exalted smite (every 3 sec) and then spam sacrifice.
Now, it becomes quite complicated to calculate. The Greataxe will hit for x5 dmg 15% of the exhalted smite, of which i have just 8 (until they recharge), and then x4 dmg 10% of the sacrifices.
The Greatsword will hit for x4 dmg 25% of my smites (so 2 times) and for x3 dmg 20% of my sacrifices.
The Falchion, for lower base dmg, will smite x4 dmg 35% of the time (so maybe 3 shots) and then for X3 dmg 30% of the sacrifices.
Considering swing speed, blast/burst multiplification, Exhalted Smite amount limitation, i have a really hard time seeing the big picture.
Since i can only smite a certain amount of times, having a better critical chance sounds better (falchion) but then with sacrifice, maybe the axe becomes more valid.
HELP!
EIDT: i realise that the tier 3 can only be acid blast, my bad.
