Default This is totally off the wall but...

...in regard to playable classes and races, I'm very restless while I wait for things like being able to play a Druid.

    I'd like Half-Elves and Half-Orcs.

I've seen that many would like Kalishtar (sp?) and Tieflings.

But what do people think about being able to play waaaaaay down the road an Ogre or a Troll?

    I know, it's weird.

But I'd really love to be able to try that hardcore one, two, three swing they each have with a weapon in hand. Let the mobs see what its like. haha

If anything, maybe some day way, way off in the future they'll rework pvp to include using these for fun. You could wade in there with your own character or pick a pre-designed one like an Ogre or Troll or Minotaur just for the pvp arena.

You'd have twenty Ogre's down in there swinging away. lol

I know we need to get all the core classes and races out first, but I thought I'd see what everyone thought of it. A little weird, I guess.

Might be fun some day...a few years from now...after we get epic levels and an expansion to the City of Towers - Sharn.

    You know, things like that.

    Thx

While i do like this idea, running monsters in PnP was always my fav, its a DM's worst nightmare. And since the Devs' have shown that they arent the greatest at being creative. (blanket immunities, cold prot cast by fire eles, etc...) I don't think they could handle it.

I always considered this a gimme... resist energy would be much smarter in many cases.

And yeah, it would be fun to play mobs in some fashion or another.
