somewhere between 40 and 200k plat sorry for the big gap in price range there but you are talking about a very specialized weapon it would mainly be used as a portal breaker in shroud with each hit doing an extra 6d6 or average of 21 damage a hit really good weapon but at the same time really specialized might get up to 300k plat from some poeple but like i said it would be up to who want's it badly enough

The portals don't fight back so there's no real need to take em down too fast. You guys go ahead and spend 200k plat on your inanimate object beaters and I'll continue to use my +3 Scepter of Sup Pot VI/Spell Pen VII Club.

Soooo your the reason the shroud takes over 45 min. If everyone stopped buffing in part 1 and used a decent weapon, maybe we could complete the most single played quest in a reasonable amount of time.

Even my cleric uses a gcb greataxe. Jeez!

As for using a decent weapon, I get the job done with my spells. If those unintelligent melee's would stop looking at the kill count and just beat portals, they would go down faster. And another thing, stop inviting Spell Singers and Virtuoso's into the party.

Even sorcs should beat on portals:
a) if there are more than one, one beats on portal one kills spawns
b) if the sorc is uber enough to have mob coverage AND portal pwn as well
