    Default Firestorm Greaves

I pulled Firestorm Greaves last night and my first thought was "woohoo! this will trade for some larges!" Several people, however, told me that they are a great item for a cleric and that I should keep them. I only run two characters, a rogue and a cleric, and have never really seen the need. My rogue, with improved evastion and a good reflex save, has no need for them. My cleric, however, rarely gets fire spells cast at him...well, until recently. On my 5th shroud (as a cleric, 30th or so overall), Harry went nuts in part 4 and directly targeted myself and the other cleric with 4-5 consecutive fireballs until we were both dead. I'd never seen him do this so I'm not sure if that's normal behavior or an anomoly. Would the Greaves have helped that much in this this situation?

Worth keeping for a cleric? If so, I need to find another place for striding because I HATE running at level 1 speed!

Keep em for your cleric and just toggle back and forth between the striders when you don't need the fire reduction.

they are highly useful in both the Shroud and Vision of Destruction. You don't want your cleric eating a fireball in part 4 of the Shroud and getting one-shotted. You also don't want to get killed from the fire bats in VOD. Any fire damage mitigation can keep your cleric alive at least long enough to toss a heal onto yourself.

As poster above said (and from those people who told you to keep that thing), they are right.

Keep it. Only dev know what kind of encounter mod 9 could bring to us, but have a fire damage mitigation item was always awesome ! (Also you can feel much more comfortable when running Enter the Kobold and Stealer of Soul in fire part, as well as Abbot)
