Looking for an Alternative Lifestyle Friendly Guild

Howdy Khyber. Just wondering if there is an Alternative Lifestyle friendly guild on Khyber. Not looking to leave my current guild on my main, but would love to network with some of my new toons!

What do you mean by" alternative lifestyle"? lol .. You mean like people who live in caves and milk bats, or people who listen to Nirvana and Soundgarden... or people who do the hibbity dibbity with people of the same sex?? lol

Ahh....... and thus the interesting responses to the politically correct phrasing begins. I actually think all three of those lifestyles sound pretty cool. Lets go with all of the above as the answer!

Lol, I honestly don't know of an alternative lifestyle guild, and never been politically correct. The gay issue has never been an issue for me, lol. I'm an actor, I have at least 100 gay friends. I think overall DDO wouldn't notice a difference one way or another no matter what guild you join. We all fall under the alternative lifestyle of being geeks, lol.

But I do have a feeling this could turn out to be an interesting thread by tomorrow morning. lol

LOL.. That I would totally agree with. I guess in my effort to not offend, I didn't really get my point across well. I was wondering if there was a guild that was mostly comprised of cave living, bat milking, hibbity gibbity people.

There used to be a guy in an old guild of mine that really liked Soundgarden. He used to listen to it all the time to the annoyance of groupmates. I have no idea if he was gay or liked milking bats though.

LMAO!!! I was just listening to Soundgarden today!! What's wrong with Soundgarden!!! I'm not going to disclose whether I milk bats or not... that's personal!! I'm not gay, but my best friend is, lol.

My thoughts exactly! I think it would be a hoot. Bats screeching, soundgarden playing in the background and some interesting fashion statements on characters. Tell you what, depending on what responses I get here, maybe creating one might be a fun idea. Wouldn't need to take those cave dwellers from their regular guilds, just add another, with a slightly different "flair", to group with from time to time!

I have been trying to come up with a name ever since the idea popped into my mind. There are so many possibilities. It must be tasteful, trendy, flamboyant but not flaming, and convey the essential goal of the guild. Just think of the possibilities with a group like that. Instead of worrying about DPS, we would be talking about the wall hangings and how they clash with the carpet. Oh the riots we would start with commenting on the color clashing outfits some of the mobs wear. The list is endless.

LOL... I guess I had it all wrong, thanks for clearing it up.

I don't know of any guilds that are based on sexual orientation, but at the same time, I would imagine most guilds would have no issue with an openly gay member... so most are alternative lifestyle-friendly.

Personally, I love hearing breeder jokes. There's some doozies out there, and most straight people are completely oblivious to this joke category.
