Another New Guy Question...

So, as I've stated in a few other posts...I'm new to the game. I'm currently playing a Cleric named IHealULive and he's almost lvl 3. I've enjoyed my experience so far very much, had a nice group last night with people that explained everything we were doing through some of the quests and were just generally really nice. So thanks for being a great community!

What I'm wondering now is what kind of item I can get that has a +1 Dex on it? I'm currently sitting at a 9 Dex on this Cleric and want to boost it up one point so that I stop taking a -1 to my AC. Can anyone point me in the right direction to either find an item that has +1 Dex off of a vendor, or a Quest that would give me an item that has +1 Dex on it?

You can get your +1 dex on a Ring, Gloves, Boots, or Bracers.

this item drops very regular in one form or another, ring, boots whatevers
ill be on tonight/ 6pm est if youre on ill send ya a tell and ill hook ya up as i dont need it, but im not aware of any static +1 dex reward but they are very common. keep an eye on what peeps pull in these lowbie quests more than likely the rogue that had one drop prolly doesnt need nor want, just ask nicely to trade or somethin like that

If that is your cleric's name - I can just send you a +1 Dex item. I've got a few scattered about my mules. When you're done with it, either pay it forward, or just sell it.

There are four main options.

First, you could buy such an item from the auction house (+1 dex gloves, for example). If this is your first character, you may find that the prices are a little too steep though.

The second main option is to run a quest chain that drops a dex item as a unique end reward. There are several of these. Unfortunately, the main ones don't quite fit your level. The best one is Splinterskull (Tangleroot) series, which has a +3 dex item as an end reward--but it requires level 5 to wear. Another one, Salvation of Korthos (Misery's Peak), can only be run once and you have probably already run it and taken a non-dex item.

The third option is to keep running general quests. A +1 dex item will eventually drop as an end reward.

A fourth option, and usually the best, is to ask around. There are lots of generous players who would be happy to give you one or buy one for you. If you see any of my characters on-line (I am usually on most evenings), send me a tell and I will buy you one from the auction house.

i'll have to check but i believe that one of the ornaments from a red name chest is a dex item. Ah found it!

Also check the tavern in the south east marketplace, there's normally +1 dex items on the various vendors in there.
