Logitech G15 Version 1

A few quick questions for anyone who has one of these or to a tech support member who knows about this keyboard; version 1 is the blue back lit with the flip LCD panel.

1. Does any in game info appear on the LCD panel?

2. Do the macro's work? I have seen some people complain on this forum but those are from last year.

3. Do I need to download any software/patches from Logitech besides what is on the CD that comes with the keyboard?

Please and help would be great, I recently ordered one and I did see some people had used it in the past for DDO with some usefulness. Today I read a few post however that concerned me, though they are fairly old.

I sent in the same questions to tech support via email, no reply, on this forum no reply. Does not a single tech agent seeing this post know nothing about this keyboard, can you not find out from someone who knows in your department? Or is the problem you guys do nothing but web browse all day? Come on tech team, do some work, either answer an email or actually help a customer out here on the forums.

I have the same keyboard and LOVE it!

Some info does display on the LCD... health and mana. Though I usually switch it back to Clock Mode so I know when to go to bed.

As for macros, they absolutely work. However, you may need to run the Logitech macro applet in "Administrator Mode" if you are using Vista (I had to). I updated the software about a year ago (or so) and haven't had any problems.
