My larges your Planar Girds

1 Large Stone for 1 Gird
1 Large scale for 2 Girds...

I only want 1 or 2 girds, and I dont know I may have these values all messed up.. we'll see...

girds are pretty steady at 300k on AH.

So it should be:
2 Large stones per gird
1 Large scale per gird

if you want to approx equality in trade values

everyone seems to forget the 1/3 skim on the AH, when comparing forum trades to the AH values

so people are regularly attempting to get 300kpp (therefore 200kpp after skim) per gird via the AH (and probably successfully)
and people are regularly attempting to get 450kpp (therefore 300kpp after skim) per scale via the AH (I know successfully via first hand experience)

originally I was at:
1 gird = 1/2 of a scale

I could agree to:
1 gird = 2/3 of a scale (therefore 2 scales = 3 girds)

But I dont see
1 gird = 1 scale

Finally as always I must ask...
are you in the market for scales?
are you sitting a a gird or 3?

cause if you aint... what did I just waste 15 minutes on?

Your math might be right Tac, but I and others have offered a scale for a gird w/o success here on the forum.

I offered 1 Lg scale and 1 other Large of your choice (non-scale) for each gird. This took about 7-10 days to get the 2 that I was looking for at the time. If you end up getting your deal let me know, I may need another shortly

ok good... so far we know that:

Dark-Star is offering 1 scale for 1 gird
Trunk-Monkey maybe offering 1 scale + 1 stone for a gird

I'm glad we got that all worked out...

I think you already knew you were making a low offer. It's listed in your original post.

I've got 14 Girds and I know what it takes to farm them. I can tell you for sure that it's a hell of a lot easier to farm 1 scale than it is to farm 2 girds. Simply due to the fact that ingredients have a guaranteed drop and it's easier to find 11 other people to run the shroud, than it is to find 3 other people to run XC.

GL with your trade. I'll keep an eye on this thread and if you're willing to increase your offer, I'll consider trading a couple of my girds.

You'd be a fool if you didn't start with a low offer. I'm just not so sure it was wise for you to then argue that your offer was fair.

I do agree with you that the peanut gallery should keep their noses out of threads like this. If they don't agree with the value you're putting on it, they should move on without replying or send you a pm instead.

Just because Firestorm Greaves are posted at 1.8 mill pp on the AH, it doesn't make them worth that. I've now watched them drop to 1.2 - 1.5 mill and when they hit 800k I might buy them.

Let me check what I think I need and see if we can come to some sort of agreement.

My response was only to help... as I searched for a couple of girds just 3 weeks ago with a similar offer.
