I have been trying to solo some quests, specifically in this case the Haunted Library, with my level 10 sorcerer. I'm not sure how often we run into undead like the Blackbone Knights that are immune to fire, but am looking for spells to take them out. Sure I can use magic missiles, but it takes too many spell points.
Any suggestions? Does hypnotism work against them?

Scrolls of distigrate.... think you cna use them at level 10 sicne wiz get the spell at 11 and scrolls have level req's 1-2 below spell level at least.
OR halt undead even from scrolls works great on skeletons mindless = no save OR such a huge penalty they almost always fail.
Web....
IF you dotn have to kill them halt and run away works great.
MM and FM wands can save SP, look for level 10 vertiosn on the AH and in your loot.
