Default Build Me a Ninja Turtle!

    Alright,

I have 32-point builds unlocked.. I'm looking for a "for fun" build, that i don't plan on taking too seriously.

No starting tomes, i'm broke! But ofcourse they could be aquired some day.

So i'm looking for a Warforged that can be considered a "bit" of a sneaky sneak, but kick some arse...

Consider this thread more of a "for fun thingy" come up with some zany ideas...

Looking foward to see what our wonderful community can come up with.

Don's already mine, so you can't have him!

Unless you're not on Thelanis, of course.

But he's a fighter who uses stave's. Quite fun really. I found a purple docent =)

Upon further inspection, I'd drop int by 2 and put 1 more in wisdom. This build is primarily DPS, so giving up a skill isn't a big deal. Just take about 8 points each out of hide, move silently, and balance.

The overall idea is to turn on power attack with two-handed fighting and the acrobat/wind stance speed boosts for massive sneak attack damage. This build will work especially well with an intimitank partner.

    Raph and Mikie!!!

However, how dare you make a turtle and not include swim as a primary stat!

You really can't make a Michaelangelo because there are no nunchaku in the game (same problem with Leonardo, but technically you could use bastard swords) as of now. I toyed with a Raph two-weapon dagger fighter, but liked the Donatello better.

Turtles don't need swim as a primary ability. They can swim just fine as is. Their special "turtle swimming" is represented by their ability to hold their breath for 24 minutes without drowning.

I'd pick one of them first.

    Leonardo just begs for a ranger / 1 monk / 1 rogue

Donatello: 12-18 rogue / rest monk acrobat (quarterstaff wielder)

Raphael: ?? dagger wielding rogue/monk ?? can't think of a good one; maybe a barb splash; he always short-tempered

Michaelangelo: too bad bards can't swap out the lute for a boombox or I'd say some combination of a rogue / monk / bard - clubs are the closest approximation to nunchaku I think DDO has

Edit: Meant to reply, not quote.

Sorry, but Leonardo would have to be a paladin/monk. There's just no way to make him uppity enough without paladin levels. Mmmmm... now I've got to go make a Leonardo character. A paladin/monk dual weilding bastard swords? Too fun!

Ok, here he is. It's just something I threw together really quick, and can probably be improved with more effort (and I'd change the stats and use tomes myself), but it's a great start. He's got a lot of hit points and a decent AC so he can be fashioned into a barbarian style tank (with raid gear AC over 50 and HP over 450) that deals significant DPS (dual wield, zeal, smite evil).

Well ****... now I need to make a warforged sorcerer named Splinter (and a human barbarian named Casey Jones). Who wants to make a dedicated turtle group? I hate you, OP!

Raphael is a pure monk dual wielding kamas.

And splinter HAS to be a halfling wizard with a couple of dragonmarks.

And casey jones swinging a great club with April O'neil as a bard.

    Here's a completely ******** build though warforged monk/sorceror/cleric.

2 levels of monk and 7 levels of sorceror and cleric. Make sure to out wisdom and charisma to 14 with some attention to DEX. And you're gold jerry! Gold!

I already have the named reserved Tortoise Jones. The idea is to be like a Ninja turtle, not copy one exactly.

Well in that case, go pure monk (maybe one rogue for intimidate) and take the turtle fighting style while focusing on defensive tanking feats (in all of the shows and movies they never killed a single person, just tanked them).

Raphael didn't use kamas, he used sais. There are daggers in the game that use the sai graphic, so he'd be a dagger build.

Splinter as a dragonmarked halfling would be good. I just said warforged because they look more like rats and because he could self-heal without feats.

Casey Jones as a barbarian with a great club is exactly the right answer. April O'neil as a bard isn't bad either, since she was a journalist, but I was preferring to leave her out of the group since she never fought in the originals (though she's a ninja now in the new movie). She also never sang.

I was thinking more along the lines of making an un-gimped team.

I'm aware of who used what. I think I even have some of the old black and white comics from Eastman and Laird somewhere.

And April as a bard because of the tv personality thing (high CHA) and bards are always great to have in a group.

She never sang, but she performed.

Agreed though, Raph uses daggers. Mikie might be able to make the case for either clubs or kamas. I mean, a kama is a stick with metal and a numchucku (however you spell it) is two sticks with metal connecting them....

For Raph, you Could sub Kama for the Sai.
and for Mikie, you could Sub in the Club, think of them as...a Jo staff.

and if you read the Graphic Novels ALL of them were proficient in Staff, Sword, and Nunchaku.

I like this Idea, it really sounds fun.
