Wink What I'd like to see...

Is the 'in game' ability to be able to 'delete' a "multi-class subclass," or classes.

I mean this would expand the 'experimenting' of in game play, albeit it probably should cost some plat and shards and maybe some collectables and/or ingredients... You probably should lose all of the levels of that class. Not to mention other possiblities too.

I have a 15 Bard/1 Sorc... Bad move for my bard! He's almost capped and he's lost a great deal in trying to increase his spell points. I know there are a few guildies too that would love to be able to do this. I'm sure there are a bunch of players that would like this ability, instead of re-rolling their toon. There's a ton of players that don't even bother with the forums and such, mostly because it would detract from their game time.

In 3.5 I believe it was in the DMGII

I've seen DMs allow a wish spell to do this. Also on death I've seen DMs allow you to choose how you will be delevelled (ie a Rogue 2/Wiz10 could choose to loose a rogue or wiz level when they were raised, not just the default last level they took)

Default What I would like to see...

Full alignment choices, ie evil. (Worked well with KotOR II).

Half-orcs, hell FULL ON ORCS. Are they part of the draw to other games?

I could picture an entire media-BLITZ to promote the above!

I too want to see Druids. (Far more interesting than Crouching Cowboys Hidden Sausages.)

    Gnomes perhaps?

    The Fly Spell
    Spider Climb Spell
    Levitate Spell
TELEKINESIS!!! oooo that would be badass!

That would be a wonderful addition...fling enemy back, they take a moment or two to get up (sort of like a shortened Command effect?) and meanwhile you have a moment to chug something or run or simply wind up your next attack.

I'd really like to see the AI improved to take into account persistent effects, as in avoid or route around or use ranged weapons to get at the enemy caster inside the effect. I'd like to see monsters who are hopelessly outgunned use alternatives rather than stand and die - if they think they have allies nearby, they should switch into the existing "dog mode" and go get help. Obviously this wouldn't apply to undead. While I'm at it, could skeletons NOT hop backwards and around so much? Mindless undead shouldn't practice ballet.

Clouds should flow through gates. Both our clouds and theirs. You don't want effects going through a particular gate, put blue glowy effects on the bars to indicate there's magical warding vs. clouds on it. Just don't overdo that. We should be able to make use of terrain like gates, and dungeons need to have terrain that can be made use of.

Fix the incredibly bad AI scripting that lets enemies know exactly where a caster is standing when they take damage from that caster's spells...even if they have no line of sight or other plausible way of knowing, they beeline. This ties into the paragraph above about persistent effects...if a cloudkill is dropped in a hallway and the caster goes around a corner, the mob should either retreat out of it or barrel ahead but start a search pattern once clear of the cloud - they shouldn't automatically know where the caster is, nor should they just stand there.
Suggestion to Turbine: Have new character slots open up automatically based on months since account start date.
Update: EU+Store = close enough. Thank you.

Not used in any of his books! Not even referenced to as a "Lord." Look at my toon names... Original? <EG>

Yes, I know and seen it used with a Wish Spell But here in DDO the cost would be high for the ability for a trainer to do this.

Yeah! The AI does need a bit of tuning still

If you are going to implement a respec of any kind, it should be via a method like this where you de-level.

Better change your name Gamaworld would be upset and I am sure its copywrited.

Arent we all on the same friggin team? We want to see DDO grow not wither away. As for unoriginal names, unless you are just going to randomly put letters together odds are the name you have isnt original. Look at my forum name, it surely isnt original. Heck even "Gunga"s name I saw in the movie the Watchmen. It was on a movie theatre or a theatre of some type. My point is dont be picking on osmone this late in the game when we need to keep everyone we have.

    Back on topic.
I think the respec of anykind has been hashed to death from every possible angle. I dont know if or when we will ever get one but you can bet its been talked about for 2yrs now+
