of course, if you don't mind using scrolls (or having the spell), you could just rely on the spell for your tumble-related needs.

Possibly because it's severely outdated and the author has explicitly stated as such.

and yet, i wouldn't be surprised if a single feat swap pretty much resolved all the supposed problems with your build (for the record, you can still have a **** good sorcerer by following this guide exactly, with a bit of tweaking for the new elemental lines, it just won't be a savant).

yeah pretty simply -just make sure you have empower or maximize by level 6 and you can get your PrE - then get Spell Focus:Evocation (maybe Conjuration for Earth Savant but most people will switch out of before level 16 or so on most builds due to lack of high level spells for acid). Other than that max Cha - Int to 12(or 14 if you really like balance) and Str for carrying stuff (and not getting enfeebled).

The guide is good for structuring your build. Everything else is fixable with a buy of spell swaps over a few days and/or an enhancement respec which are both cheap.

Whenever I do a search, I specify 3-6 months or newer. It's silly to blame an OP of a post that's a year or more old - any MMO changes too much for that.

This thread does need a serious update though, two new races, new prestiges, spell point and enhancement changes, and extend being nerfed into near-uselessness makes it less than useful.

Feel free to write it up and either post it here, or PM it to me. I would be happy to include changes, I just don't have the time to do it myself. I also haven't played for a long, long time (something like 2 years) so I don't have the in-game knowledge to back up anything I might say.

Anybody that wants to write it up will of course be given credit.

Another useful race for sorcerer is half elf,since they get an get the extra feat for cleric dilliante.That makes it much easier on the umd.

Half-elf didn't exist when it was written. Heck, Elemental Savants didn't either!

There are more up-to-date Sorc guides out there. I looked at

when I was planning my first Sorc life. Even it is a year old now, without anything about all the Epic stuff that came with the expansion pack, though it's still a decent guide if you were just going to level to 20 and TR.

There's a good reason for that. I haven't played DDO in something like 4 years. I just like to come back and haunt my old stomping grounds, now and then. Maybe get a forum infraction point or two while I'm at it.
