Break points

what are the sweet break points for barbs (other than 20). I'm looking at the tempest feat and maybe 2 levels of monk twf

barbs cant multi with monks

18 will get all 3 ranks of the presige classes, 11 and 14 will get crit rage if you hurry up and cap them before the new mod hits

Err , how much time do I have? So there is grandfather clause but is there anything in the new mod to offset the nerf?

I can't get go 6 ranger and get 11 or 14 or respec after the new mod then

frenzied beserker looks pretty nice on paper, dont know if it offsets loss of crit rage though

after doing more reading I see that you can go gimpy until level20 then get a swap out (yuk)

lvls 11, 12, 14, and 18 are your breakpoints. Thats this mod and next. Anything less than 11 levels and you'd be better served with class levels in about anything else; as the str/con bonus by itself is easily replaced by other class benefits. Other than splashing one level for fast movement/boss rage clickie of course.

lvl 11 crit rage
lvl 12 last rank of power rage + FB 2
lvl 14 crit rage and Indom. Will
lvl 18 FB 3

But if you plan on being a twf, you'd do more damage next mod as a Fighter or a Pally, crit rage or no. The biggest perk of the barbarian is high str, which isnt quite as effective on a twf character as straight +damage.
