    Default Mouse Recommendations

Gone through two G7's in the past 2-3years and need a new mouse. What mice are you all using, looking for one that can suit big hands.. the one I bought at staples last night is the suckiest mouse in the world LX8 to small for my hands.

    Anyone used/tried a sidewinder?

    TIA

I took a old labtop and stole the mouse pad and hooked it up to my keybord. But I found if u don't have to take your hand off your home keys you get faster timeing on targeting and other such things.
If you can shoot them down before they get to you a bonus if you can take them half down and then meele them out bonus if you can shoot and run around like your head is cut off dispel fom grease sleet storm stop running so I can kill it!!!!!!

Currently using a Sidewinder. It looked like a well build mouse in the package, once I got it out, it felt a bit cheap for the money I paid but its held up pretty well.... Its a little over a year old and I;m just starting to get some USB Errors with it.. But I'm typically pretty rough onmice. my last 2 logitects lasted 9 months tops.

same for me - I use a gaming laptop to play, and use the touchpad. Having eight fingers (two fingers of right hand control the touchpad) on keyboard really helps when I'm trying to hit all the right buttons.

You can buy separate touchpads for desktops apparently, but I don't think any of them are any good.

*raises an eyebrow* I guess your name really is indicative of your nature with certain hardware... shesh... My logitech MX1000 is still working fine after 3 years of constant use. Heck, you can't even find those any more either. Believe me... I've been trying. Wife likes that fit and her's is finally getting a little left click flakey. The new ones they have out right now... just.. ewww... I can't say I've found any that I like the design or feel of. I'm probably going to have to re solder in new contact switches to fix it.

I'm partial to my logitech mx310; yea, it's not as flashy as the G series, but it's held up well and has the extra buttons which come in handy.

In the end I went with the Sidewinder HKA-0001 and after using it for a short time this morning its freaking awesome... Yeh Im a M/S fanboi I know... but if you have large hands and find other mice seem small, the S/W is the one to get.

    Thanks for the advice guys
