I would agree. When my Sorcerer picked a +3 CHA tome, FoD seemed to landing alot more. But what do I know? I dunno the math, but you would think the higher the stat, the better the spells.

Saying that, to the OP, there are jerks on every server. HOWEVER, coming to the forums and raving like a madman isn't getting your point accross. Remember we are all cynical and are looking for our next victim we can feed upon

I think you need to take acue form your other thread. This is a game. Nearly losing someone (or lost, I could not understand) you should spend a little moretime in Reality than in this game. I love this game too, but that's a bit much.

ok my math sucks? think outside the box big guy if my finger is say dc 36 and a mobs fort save is dc 34 i finger 10% of the time which means, that a drow with 2 dc's above would finger at 20% 10% vs 20% thats double mate...
its not common that mobs have that kinda fort.... on elite they do

My drow sorc has a 0% fail rate on heal/MCMW scrolls. On one hand, that's not as handy as being able to reconstruct yourself... on the other, I can heal my entire party, not just myself.

In almost three years (forum date wrong) ive played this game anywhere from 12-18 hours a day and i dont think that i've quite amassed 50 toons, of any level. Even if you counted all the re-rolls that only made it to level's one and two, i'd be hard pressed to hit 50, and i'm quite well known for re-rolling. My hats off to you leeroy if in fact you have amassed more than i in a third of the time.

I will say this, whether you lost someone, or came close to losing someone, i wish you and your family the best regardless. However, i must say, if you actually noticed that someone had grabbed your stone and moved it, and if during those tender moments you actually cared enough to get so upset you post on the forums concerning it and defend those actions in same thread, i'm a little worried for you.

Any way you cut it, Sorcs are teh easy button in this game , WF or otherwise. No point jsut creating drama.
Personally I think Sorcs are for the skill-less. Ive capped one and will never do it again, no fun , no strategy that takes no skill.

Some food for thought back at ya...

Any decently built WF Sorc can no-fail Heal scrolls at level 16 as well as MCMW scrolls. But really you know as well as I do that a Sorc isn't going to be healing as much as nuking. It is nice however to be able to scroll in emergencies.

They can get to no-fail level, but they don't, presumably because it's not worth the investment on a WF.

Of course a sorc won't do "as much" healing as nuking. But what you're trying to imply - that a sorc is too busy nuking to heal - is not really true. If I'm going balls-to-the-wall nuking, I'm out of my 2495 mana in a minute or so, after which time I can help heal. If I'm not going balls-to-the-wall, I can help heal in between nuking.

There may be another element to this: I get my scrolls for free, so I don't mind burning hundreds just running across town . If I'm not busy doing something, I'll heal. Others, like you say, will only do so "in emergencies".

try looking at foundtehtraps build

he can intimidate in vod elite and get his mana back then go crazy with spells then intimdate get mana back

works well when messing around 3- 9 man
