Letter from the Editor

Welcome back once again to the First Official Stormreach Community Chronicle!

So what’s different?

Well for a start you will notice that the name of the Chronicle has changed and that we have added the word ‘Community’ to the title along with a new set of ‘banner’ headings. Why did we do this? Well there are two main reasons;

The first is so that we do not cause any confusion between this edition and the official Turbine Stormreach Chronicle in the US.

And the second is because we wanted to emphasize on what we believe is the strength and focus of the Chronicle with regards to both content and who we are providing this for, which is you, the Fantastic DDO Community!

The Stomreach ‘Community’ Chronicle has the full endorsement of Codemasters and will replace the old EU version of the Stormreach Chronicle, however we will still carry all the latest news and updates and also from time to time bring you ’news exclusives’ that will be announced here first in the Chronicle from Codemasters.

Lastly, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that has submitted content for this week’s edition, your support and commitment to helping with the Chronicle and what we are hoping to achieve. I leave you now with what Amaurea had to say on the subject this week.

As a community project, the Chronicle has much more potential to get additional high quality content such as the player interviews to provide an impression of the game from a player's perspective. There is also a multitude of possible content out there for collation that we would not be able to provide you from this side. To be honest, I think this way the Chronicle will be richer, more informative and more fun to read than the version we could provide, even if we had all the time in the world!

Anyways, Brannigan, I will provide you with updates regarding maintenance changes, hints about surprises or announcements in time to you, so you can include those to the Chronicle. If you have any additional ideas or questions, let us know.
