    Default Shroud armor crafting

Okay, so we got weapons crafting down to a science and now were looking for the next high. How about greensteel armor crafting? With complete customization of color or appearance of armor. Maybe I can put those 245 medium horns to use

Um you do know there IS armor crafting added. Dragon touched crafted armor and it has 3 tiers of effects just like shroud weapons.

Sorjek was and is a bad idea. It takes and hour to fill a group for Sorjek because no one is intrested in it. The rewards are not that great for most people considering the time and effort that needs to be invested in a game where ac if under 70 plays no roll. The worst part is that we all look the same and the armor design specially the leather is very poor. In my opinion Sorjek is a big failure and once we get our new level cap it will be forgotten like that House K quest behind the bank and the Orchards.

No more than running shroud and hoping for a scale...

yeah, but once you have the scale you know what it does. Once you have the rune (soveriegn, tempest, eldrich all ) you're still gambling for what you may recieve for your hour or two of work, only to find you now have exceptional wis on your barbarian for teh fifth time in a row

The Idea behind the crafting is unique, and i applaud turbine for that. Wtihout the unique the game gets stale and player base dwindles, but in teh same instance I would like to see a way of earning teh ability of being able to see what each of the runes does. Kind of like the identify spell (hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, PLEASE!)

I think they should'nt allow the same rune pop twice on the armor. Would fix a lot of issues. A better idea woud be is armor crafting shroud style, but I would still like to see a better variety then those lame looking light blue fairy designs. At least give us the option to change armor color.

I saw the suggestion once that after you place the Rune in the given altar, you are given the option of taking the new effect or not. Either way the rune is consumed.

This would have no effect on how many times the quests are run, as you'll still keep looking for the perfect rune, but would allow you to keep an usable effect on your armor while still searching for the perfect one.

No more replacing your fighter's Sundering Ooze Guard (useful) with Glaciation VIII (worthless) while looking for Dodge +3 (perfect).

This seems like a simple change that would take away much of the frustration of armor crafting.

so do i but that doesn't make it better. you just get two sets of armor where you can replace a deathblock effect with a deathblock effect with a deathblock effect with a ....

That's comparing apples to potatoes... one is actual crafting and gathering ingredients for a guaranteed outcome the other is pulling a one armed bandit.
