Small Guilds

How many small guilds do we have out there with only about 5-6 current
active players that might consider running with another guild of like
size?

I've inherited the Guild Leadership of the Nameless which was left with
only a few awesome people that still like to adventure. We have an
active group of adults (30yrs+) of about 4-6 players, almost nightly.
Current character level ranges are 8-16. Joking around is VERY much a
part of our talkative laid back group. That's what makes our groups so
fun and never boring. One has to be able to withstand some vulgar and
"adult" language. We are not an Elite guild, but like to make decisions
as a group and get the quest done.

To be honest, I've played every quest in this game multiple times, but I
am still not comfortable leading a PUG group through Raids and the only
way to truly learn is to do it yourself. I'd prefer with guildies and
friends for that learning curve though. Hence why I am posting here.

We are possibly looking for another guild that is NOT elite to run with.
We would prefer a guild with NEWER PLAYERS so as to figure the quest out
ourselves as a group. Learn from the mistakes. We don't tend to zerg,
but do on occasion. Most of us like to get quests done at a decent
pace and usually go for MAX XP if someone needs it.

We haven't decided what we are going to do yet, but if you are guild
leader or in a guild with 5-6 players and would like to chat about this,
let me know here or send me a PM to discuss in more detail. We'll see
what happens.

We recently merged from Omegahood and Ineffable Warriors and it has been good for both parties. (IMHO). I think we fit your description very very well, except for me as I'm the zerger of the guild, but they seem to put up with me for now.

I would position VA as a social guild with a few power gamers in the mix. We have a lot of character builders in our guild, so we are always running low content as well as some raids. A fair amount of our players are taking a break until Mod 9, so I would say the majority of us have been running lowbies over the last couple of months.

Bickering Idiots is pretty much me, my boyfriend, and a few friends. We know all the regularly-run raids well (Shroud and Hound) and are taking the time to learn some of the other ones like DQ and Titan so we can feel comfortable putting together our own groups for them. We know a lot of the regular quests well enough to feel comfortable zerging through them if needed (stuff like Vale and Refuge), but have no problem slowing down and showing someone the ropes if we need to.

We have many friends in many guilds large and small who are great players that we regularly group with and have a great time with, you're always sure to have some laughs with us

Just look us up sometime or join a group with us if you see our LFMs!

Four active people in our Guild...

I feel your pain. We always have to fill the last couple of spots with PUG or 3-4 man quests.

All in the guild are 30+ and are good folks.

Although we have stayed as a guild we have considered many times dumping the Angels of Death name (it was inherited) or merging with a larger guild. The guild leader runs a lot with Runs With Scissors (all good folks again) while I tend to split my time between pugging and running with some folks I know in Ravensguard.

Anyways, anytime you are looking ... look to see if any of us Angels are on (Darn I hate that name).

We've made contact with two guilds and appreciate the the replies. I'll copy down some of the alts and character names here and keep an eye out for you in game if we need some players to run.

But it's a very friendly kind of rudeness. Plus in my guild, if we insult each other's moms, it's considered friendly banter...

Also, I love grouping with you guys cuz when I join group I can say "Hello, Idiots" and no one can get mad...

Sounds like you may be able to stomach grouping with us Tavern Brawlers. While the game is rated "Teen", the content and quality of our chat should be deemed "Adult" or even "Squelched by sensible people", and our ability to play effectively is directly proportional to the quantity of **insert preferred substance here** consumed.

The idiots are a good group have ran with them several times as well as once being a member, I left due to never seen anyone I knew on anymore and wanting to be with people I knew when I was on, but you cant go wrong with them. If you looking for people to just round out a group sometimes the Southern Tenent(spelling) Farmers Union(or something like that) is filled with great and friendly players, also Katet(dam my spelling) are a great group as far as I am concerend.

Howdy from the Diggers Union. We are very similar. A small group, only 3 of us active right now, Me, my friend and his wife. All in our mid to late twenties. We do have a few laughs and are always looking for a good group of people to quest with, assuming that they dont mind sticking together. We feel that part of the fun is getting the story, and letting everyone play their role. Now i dont mean role playing, we are in it for the kills and the excitement of playing, but we get very lost when people just run ahead not waiting for buffs, or request heals, as they run around a corner.

Yeah, The rest of Diggers Union doesn't mind a good name dropping here and there. My wife, Bekkah, and myself are always looking for someone to group w/ that doesn't mind taking their time in quests. Mostly 'cause we are both casual players that have busy schedules so we don't have alot of time to learn quests. Usually if we are running a quest, it's probably our first time (not usually so for Kildrak, though). Im a 10 wiz and Bekkah is 7 rngr. Look us up sometime!

Again, thanks for the replies. Once Mod 9 hits next year 2010 (hahaha), I'll add more people on the friends list that left character names in this thread. I believe you'll be able to leave comments to who they are and such in your friends list. It would make it easier to know who your sending tells too, what guild they are in, etc.......
