Found an easier way to level

To all those that can't fathom why I prefer not to have rage, I'll say this only - it has nothing to do with AC whatsoever and everything to do with Vicious..

That is all..

Sounds like someone found a cheat to bypass the vicious damage, and doesnt want to spell it out so it can't be fixed.

Oh wait, is this the whole "you dont take vicious damage if you don't bypass DR" thing? Thought they fixed that.

My worse case was some serious wifeaggro gone exponential! It was on Gwylans about 3/4 done. I am sure the group heard the yelling in the background so didn't wonder too much when my toon dc'ed without notice... :O

I felt bad, but saved myself from a life as a eunich... barely.

I know most of your Toon names so I swear I was there when that happened, if not you somebody else same circumstance. I remember after the DC we all acknowledged that it was probably the smartest thing you did.

There is a very good reason I don't like to be raged for portals and I've explained it.. All I want is a haste, and if you've got a beef with that than you can **** off.

I won't bother explaining it again, and if it's not me your referring to then be considerate to others, sometimes there are very good reasons for requests.

Someone showed me an easier way to level. The secret is to join a group and enter the instance. Wait until the rest of the party is about a quarter of the way through, and then afk and let them do all the work for your easy xp. It's absolutely brilliant!

It's great to group with, as you won't pull mobs before everyone's ready and don't bog down chat with senseless talk about tactics or... well, anything for that matter, since you're afk during most of the quest.

and 'iss off your whole party, never to get invited into their group again... great idea

Have to disagree with you here.

1) It is everyones job to communicate in a social gathering.
2) This is a social game.
3) If someone takes time to buff you, you should thank them.
4) If someone gives you a buff you do not want, you should ask them not to.
5) If someone does not give you a buff you can use, ask them for it.
6) All of this should be polite, too the point, and with explanation if requested.
7) If someone asks you for a buff, and you can reasonablly give it, you should.

All of it is about communication to your TEAM mates. This is a game that is supposed to be fun for everyone, so take a few extra seconds and let people know what buffs are coming, and when to leave the buff circle when Rage (or Protection from Evil, which is currently debuffing apparently) is about to be tossed.

i dunno if it was you, but you can **** off too. this guy was complaining about his ac. he went on to add something like, when you get an ac guy you'll understand. i thought that was really funny. and vizzini, feel free NOT to click on my shroud speed runs either i or norg are running. have a nice day and once again, **** off

Good thing afk-boot isn't working! I heard a story about how one gentleman passed out shroud 2 once... he said he woke up the next day and looted it all! I guess he really gave his group the Shaft.

You say that, but then you just gave an example of how you were able to at least inform the party of an AFK during a fire! It's not really that hard to hit the talk button and say afk, or at the very least hit alt+f4 while getting up from the keyboard.

And again, the guy logged out 5 minutes after we finished out. The odds of him having an emergency that just happened to last the exact length of our run are pretty slim.

i usally run lvl up quests with the same ppl and they knwo when we hit a certian lvl and certian quests thats all I am gonna do is walk in cuz i hate the quests and then they know when we get to other quests we will be done with the quest in 2-3 minutes tops cuz i will zerg way in front fo the cuz i know those quests and enjoy them
