    Default Old Dryden's Mace question

Is the old Dryden's Mace worth anything these days? I've been gone from the game for a while and came back to see that it's been changed from Undead Bane to Lesser Undead Bane, but the old ones remained the same.

Anyone know if it has any reasonable value? While I like the mace, I figure platinum is far more useful to me as I get back into the game than the mace is.

Check the hardness, I think they kept the old ones the same bane but made them brittle as glass

I'm pretty sure that when they made the change, they also made the old version of the mace ultra soft. It'll get beat to hell in almost no time. The only way around that are some of the rituals you can perform on an item (binding, adamantine), but then you won't be able to pass it on down to new lowbies. Good weapon, but not great.

Keep it. I have two lvl 2 star of irians and they are great for leveling lowbies. You aren't going to get a huge amount of plat for it.....I would say under 100K and that isn't going to help you that much.

You are correct...they look to have lowered the hardness to 2 on the mace...that's a shame. Also, while 100K isn't going to help me a ton its far more than I have at the moment

Thank you all for your quick responses.

Your best hope is probably to find a rich collector who needs it. Otherwise there is little point in spending money on it.
