Hello fellow Arcanists,
After looking at the new spells and seeing their description, what are ones that you would like to see in Mod 9 (maybe we'll get lucky and the DEVs already have them planned). Take care to choose spells that translate over to DDO from PnP. The illusion spells which are up to the DM in a campaign are a bit tough to put into the game.
Here is my list
1. Vampiric Touch: The spell seems easy to code based on the body feeder code (just change the percent to 100 after a save is failed). I'm still uncertain why this hasn't been instituted before
2. Improved Invisibility: This is one of my favorites, but I can see the similarity to "displacement" which is currently implemented
3. The Bigby's Spells
Interposing Hand: It would be nice to have a hand push a mob that is beating on me away, and the coding would be similar to the gusts of wind that are already in.
Crushing Hand: WOuld serve as a "hold" with damage dealt
4. The spell that suppresses healing (can't remember it).
5. Revamp the HD spells that are currently in game. If the devs look at the Death SPell for example. If the spell is analyzed in PnP and given a power rating, then it could be scaled up according to the HD of Mobs in DDO. That way, a spell caster doesn't lose potential great spells because the HD's do not reflect their DDO counter parts.
6. Antimagic Sphere
7. Wall of Force and Wall of stone
8. Throbbing Bones - serves as a debuff
9. Ghoul Gauntlet
10. Choke
(Wife is starting to agro, that is why 6-10 have no ideas)
