help with directx 10

my laptop is 2 yrs old it runs directx 10 just fine with other games but not ddo and would love it if you can help me figure this out i have a chipset for my graphics card its a mobile intel(r) 945gm/gu/pm/gsm/940glm/943glm/and intel(R) express processor to dram controller-27ao i have been playing pnp since advance d&d and still play but i am likeing ddo much better i also got my wife to play so i dont get wife agro please help

there Was no DirectX 10 laptops, two years ago, so I would love to see this Dxdiag too.

1) You cannot download DX10, it's part of Windows Vista.

2) In regards to DXDIAG requests.

Go to the 'Start' menu, Select 'Run', Type 'dxdiag' and click 'OK.

In the new window that pops up click 'Save All Information'. You'll want to save it to say your desktop so you can easily retrieve the information.

Open up the file (DxDiag.txt by default) copy the select everything and copy it. Come back here and paste that into a post so we can see what you actually have.

SOrry if you thought I was sarcastic, but really, if you expect help, you need to be a little more open.

There is a Sticky right at the top of this forum that describes how to post a DXDIAG. Its also very easy to type DXDIAG into Google and get 100 answers on what it is and how to provide it.

Do you even have Vista on the Laptop? If not, lets stop. DX10 will not run on anything other than vista. No mater what you think you downloaded, you did not download a XP DX10 Version. It does not exist.

If you DO have Vista, Les get that DXDIAG. and you said it runs DX10 just fine with other games.... It would be enlightening to me to know what games you are actually talking about.

From what you have posted and what other have said, you can not run DirectX10. Just because you have Vista does not mean you have DirectX10. Its all depended on Graphic cards ability to run DirectX10. Im afraid to tell you from what you have posted your computer will not run DirectX10.

The only DirectX10 cards two years ago were mostly Nvidia and just a couple of ATI cards. Since your computer does not have either of those add-on videocards you wont be able to see the graphics of DirectX10.

Im sorry if we are not of any help, but I can not, or anybody else can not help you.

To see DirectX10, you need a new computer that has a DirectX10 certified videocard, nothing wlse will work.
