    Default Can't connect anymore -fixed-

Hi, i play DDO everyday, but after the last maintenance yesterday i cannot connect anymore. At first i thought this was due to high traffic, but after 10 attempts still no succes.
Im from Holland (might have something to do with it?), and ive tried allowing connections on my firewall, and disabling my firewall (NOD32).
I'm running Windows XP SP3, Windows Firewall is turned off.
I think this is very strange as ive been playing Sunday and everyone else can connect after the maintenance. Maybe this problem is known to happen before?
    Any advice would be nice.

    Default Fixed it

I couldnt find the article on the Q&A search yesterday, but i found it now and it adviced me to check IE for offline status.
It seemed my IE was indeed set to work offline (i use FireFox) and setting it to online fixed my connection to DDO.
I have an IE window on my desktop which was the cause of IE set to work offline.
Now, i heard Microsoft has to give the consumer the option to install IE or NOT INSTALL IE in their next versions of their OS. This could prove to be a problem for DDO in the future if it keeps using the awkward Internet Explorer.
Now its not only Microsoft setting us up with unwanted software but even DDO joins their game of pushing IE through our throats?

You dont need IE to play DDO, You just need the settings correct to play.
