You might get someone to trade you a Chaosguard for it, but no way will you get the Boots of the Innocent or a +15 Intimidate helmet for it. But that's just my opinion. Keep trying, there may be someone out there willing to trade for it.

You have the right to not trade it. I'd try for a little more than an easily-farmed low-level item.

i have to disagree, i think chaosguards are worth more than a less-than-dazzling rapier. however neither are really worth very much so its not worth griefing Ph over (not that i would do that to Ph anyway )

No doubt other people value items differently, but I find Chaosguards quite easy to acquire, and they seem to have a fairly high drop rate. Anyone who has farmed for girds is likely to have several unneeded Chaosguards in the bank - after all, only some characters can make use of the bracers, but any non-caster can easily make use of multiple girds. Not to mention, a gird is something you swap on to use the clicky then go back to your preferred gear. Chaosguards have serious competition for the full-time bracers slot from AC bracers for dex builds and the hound bracers for melees.

On top of that, a weakening of puncturing rapier is only one notch down from wounding of puncturing, and can kill just as quickly in the hands of a rogue with crippling strike. In the well-played hands of such a rogue, it is probably on equal footing or perhaps even slightly better than a wounding of puncturing short sword or dagger. And weakening of puncturing has the same drop rate as wounding of puncturing, i.e. rare.

I'm not saying anyone is trying to take advantage of anyone else, because people value things differently. That's just my opinion.
