    Default Human - Solo Play

Okay here is my conundrum. I have done a lot of solo play, over the years I have leveled up and reached cap two different solo play characters (neither were tweaked in any fashion) both made 1750 favor. Both characters were 28 point builds.

When I go to try and build a 32 point build I really struggle. I have decided that I must be trying to do too much with the additional 4 points and thus not doing anything or even worse make the build less survivable.

So I would like some help making my next character.

    Requirements:
    32 Point
    Human
No Tweak (no tomes, no gear)

I would like some rogue. (Normally two levels of rogue in my designs for this type of character) .

I usually end up with three classes so that is why I posted this here.

    Thanks in advance.

What were the other two builds you took to favor and cap?

Do you want to try something different or just a variation of flavor?

    The First was a Bard 5 / Sorc 7 / Rogue 2 (level cap was only 14).

All about Self Buffing and basically using friends to beat everything.

    The Second was a more conventional Fighter 8 / Wizard 5 / Rogue 3.

This build buffed and used the short hastes to beat down mobs quickly. The third level of rogue was pretty pointless (all about increase sneak attack damage) but I wasn't sneaking that much.

I have tried other combonations since then and haven't had a s much luck. One just had bad luck, always seemed to roll ones. Another just didn't have enough HP to survive without tweaking.

Well for something a bit different you could try a pure or nearly pure cleric to solo with. At lower levels they can melee about as well as a fighter and pretty soon get some great spells to either kill mobs or bring their melee up a notch or two. You can still find traps (aided by the spell) or you could drop a rogue level or two in there if you really want trap/lock skills and evasion.

The 4 extra build points should be easy to find a home for with a cleric combo.

This is also a build that is pretty independant of gear for a while, ie just stuff you find and loot can hold you quite well.

At low levels I would enter most fights after summoning up a Monster to aid me. Very useful, and when you flank the mobs, that +2 to hit can really help, plus all the damge the dog takes you never need to heal.

have to say that the build combos are cool goldy, unconventional and insteresting to say the least. i love **** like that. one of my favorite combos is a ranger/bard/barb combo which wont get you your trap skills but is a blast to play. the songs/rages/attack speed make for a potent combo. you could replace bard with rogue and have a hell of a time imo, just dont forget your will save
