the messsage I get when starting the client is:
A connection error occurred when trying to access
"http://gls.ddo.com/GLS.DataCenterServer/Service.asmx"
Someone please explain...
*edit: this appears to be happening sporadically. Sometimes it happens as soon as I attempt to start the client others it doesn't happen until after selecting a server.

I had this happen too..on Thelanis
After about 3-4 attempts, I was able to log on successfully.
I was booted mid-character switch when it happened to me.Brandiwyne - 16 Monk / Conmac - 15/1 Bard/Barbarian / Peshwah - 16 Wizard

This is happening to me also. I was online about 3 hours ago to check some auctions. I will keep trying and edit with any changes in result.
Is there an issue with the authentication server?

getting this at times, then when i get through (4-5 tries) i am getting
"Authentication error ccurred. Please try logging in again."
can't get past the mod 8 splash screen without this happeningGhallandaish
