ohhh i remember the good ol' pvp days sitting in the lobster with nothing to do, remembering the times where i had fun and the times i would get irritated because no matter what i couldn't figure a way to beat someone...lol. Can't wait to get back to playing cause PvP was deffenatly one of my favorite parts of the game. Always thought a good PvE toon was good in PvP, but it all depends on what kind of gear you have and how you play...lol and the one rule i never seemed to learn, never go after the clerics with a melle toon.....lol

In a sence some of the comments here are correct

Yes, there are many 12 year olds that tend to hang out in the PvP room, BUT their toons are 16th lvl and they didnt get to that level in PvP !

So in that manner they do deserve respect as somewhere along the lines ... they have played the game and for quite some time !!

For the record I have not been 12 in many MANY years so dont think I am a self proclaimed 12 year old spokes person,

BUT I do see alot of bickering & cussing in PvP over whos better than who ..... and who's toon can do better, by what you think are 12 year olds.

YES ! some of them are younger boys n girls complaining, BUT they cant be blamed for all of it. I have whimed a couple times in there myself ! I have had it out with a couple toons publically on "tactics" ( ganking ) that I have dis-agreed with ..... but in the end ..... Its just a game !! Move on and have fun !

Anyways, yes PvP may not be the main aspect of DDO but it is an aspect !! I would actually rather hop into the PvP room now than run alot of these quests I have been running over and over for the last 3 years !

At least in PvP I dont know what is going to happen every step of the way !!

Ya sure Turbine could set up some sort of ladder to keep track of the "PvP King" ( Ultimega ) hehe.. BUT there is a thousand thiings they could do within the PvE game as well to make it much more enjoyable !!

Basically PvP and PvE are going to be what "we" the toons playing make of it

Ya PvP could be better, BUT I have actually met alot of good people in PvP including a few of the 12 year olds that seem to get themselves a bad name. Some deserved some not !!

I have actually recruited more players outta PvP than in quests in the last 2 months. Most are still with Adventure Inc and all of them are great PvE players as well !

So with that said !!

Yes this is mainly why I pvp, sure running shroud and vod on elite is fun and all but after awhile it gets dry. Pvping someone who can react and think and come up with new ways to beat ya is what pvping is all about.

And yes pvp does get boring after awhile too sadly since not many people are into it. Im glad that they're some new updates for it coming out and hope that they continue to improve it

I definitely have to agree with you about innovation in PvP. It makes it much more interesting, and I love when people rely more on their craftiness instead of pure damage to win.

I too can't wait to see the kinds of things they're going to do with PvP, although I hope it still has the same sort of levity that most of us regulars (on Khyber at least) apply to it. More involved battlegrounds, such as areas akin to an NPC-less adventure area would be interesting I think. Or throw in a few NPCs to make things pop a little more.

Well, I look forward to seeing you there and maybe even doing some more Death Matches. I still have to beat you at least once!

Okay, maybe a +2 tome from PvP is a bit optimistic, but I think that drops would be fun. I'd hate to be the developers working on PvP drop loot. It seems like that would make for one hell of a headache.

Alright, you can be king, AS LONG AS you make major changes in PvP so its like Unreal Tournament. That means I better start seeing plasma guns, rocket launchers, chainsaws and redeemers spawning in the arena and tavern brawls.
