Default Question: Will there still be new feats in Module 9.0?

    I remembered of something yesterday:
[18:32] Eladrin: I will answer all of the questions myself! Prestige enhancements are planned for fighters and paladins. Before that, however, the melee classes (especially fighters) will be glad to see an array of tactical feats made available to them.
Since we have seen two of the three Pr's for fighter (and the third one not being in Module 9.0) and the three PrE's for paladins, I got to ask: are there new feats to be added in Module 9.0 and if so, can we get some teases? Either full descriptions or just the names, I won't be picky. Please!!

Or, have plans have changed? If so, it would be cool to at least know.

Oh, and before anyone asks, this was from a Dev Chat a while back. The only log I could find was here.

I would be interested in what is planned for "Hiding In Plain Sight"

haha, no. While a lead designer's job is to balance the game as a whole, each system designer (and each level designer/content guy) is responsible for their own little bit of the game. So as such, I balance spells/enhancements, graal has items and treasure, and Eladrin runs around going "raaar!" a lot. I think he does monsters.

True, Codog teased us with that ages ago.

Well, Kensai 3 does list a requirement for "Superior Weapon Focus", so I'm guessing there may be 2 new feats for each class of weapons: Superior Weapon Focus and Superior Weapon Specialization. Those these aren't in the SRD that I can see. Probably still +1 to hit and +2 damage bump with some amount of ftr level req as well as the greater weapon versions.

Given they're giving dex 6 rangers Superior Two Weapon Fighting (for Tempest 3) and Codog had once talked about a Superior Two-Handed Fighting (which add another glancing blow on the last swing and increased glancing blow damage)... maybe we'll get STHF feat. It would help bring the damage curve a little bit closer.

Have we actually had confirmation that there is no STWF feat? Or just that Rangers get it in their PrE?

None of these are really "Tactical" fighter feats. Just needed feats.

Superior Weapon Focus is already in-game with a prereq of level 16 fighter. For soem reason, they just never mentioned it in any release notes.

Superior Weapon Specialization, using the same progression, would be at level 20...

Superior weapon focus feats already exist. I have one on my fighter, but I think it's min lvl 16 and since pure class fighters are positively shunned (until maybe they get their mystery% weapon alacrity capstone) not many people have it.

I stand doubly corrected... well.. moreso better informed that the then is now.

I didn't know people had L16 fighters... except made at beta 28pt. bank toons. Didn't they fix this so fighter trainers disappear once you have 14 fighter levels so you'll splash monk or paly or rogue or sorc (if wfged) or barb?

    No, that's the fighter capstone.

Tactical feats *could* be awesome. If implemented well, they could even help lesser used weapons or weapon combinations.
