Sorcerer And rouge?

balance is a rouge skill i have 4 capped casters and i play only 1 why? because the first one is wizard...... 1350 mana without shroud / archmagi hurts
second one 22 cha hurts...
third one -3 balance hurts..
fourth one i got everything right on XD 12 int and plus 2 tome get umd balance concetration youll be smiling when they comet fall you and you arnt killed instantly
also tumble helps when fighting beholders if you use docent of difiance you will want nat tumble of over 1


no rouge levels are needed im just saying you gotta get balance and concentration

the skills that are a must are rouge skills no actualy rouge levels


This means you save on a 1- 2 with balance and you can get ress scrolls off and reco scrolls off in the middle of combat-

i was going to argue reasons why to play warforged but i wont because id rather most poeple play fleshies because then i can reconize the good sorc's right off the bat

(don't get me wrong most drows are passable im just saying I dont want 90% of drows in a elite vod/shroud with me) and i want 90% of wf's in elite vod/ shroud with me

As a caster in the shroud when do you need to make a concentration check? I suppose if you are required to solo the lion balance might be useful. However, to build your character around this.........I just cant imagine your play style.

Wait a second, maybe I can imagine it:
Part 1: Not having an effective finger attack, you beat on a portal while some melee roams.
Part 2: Run from all mobs (again lack of good insta kill attacks means you cant really attack), throw out half a dozen ineffective webs for effect, maybe some acid. Pull lots of aggro as critters run thru your webs and either hop around like a bunny or turtle up healing yourself. Then camp at shield wall waiting to run to crystal where you stack fire walls because your disintegrate is too lame to reliably get anything but 75 pt damage.
Part 3: Show off your knock spell
Part 4: Throw out half a dozen webs and fog then hop around healing yourself while melees fight mobs running thru your webs. Spend half the Harry round trying to land debuffs and fogging. Then burn thru the other half of your mana actually attacking Harry or perhaps conserve it by just standing around. Then more devils and oodles more cc hoping to get some effect. Round 2 starts with you missing every other finger on the gnolls. Watch the barbarian kill your gnoll targets before you can land a proper finger. Eventually the melees kill Harry or perhaps the rest of the party wipes. Hop around by yourself facing Harry, perhaps even meleeing ineffectually alone, self healing and evading fireballs. Comment to your dead party members how clever you are to play a WF sorcerer.
Part 5: See part IV just longer and more drawn out.

So, am i right? Nailed it didnt I. Here is the thing though.
Part I: A real sorc would finger 30-40 mobs and actually contribute something useful. Why bring a lame sorc to beat on portal when a DPS melee could do it better.
Part II: Although the fact that you perhaps draw aggro helps, you bring little to the boss fight and the lack of an insta kill on the crystal means a close battle will result in a reset.
Part III: Good job thanks for the knock, Oh btw a rouge/ranger DPS could do this and contribute on other parts.
Part IV: How can you justify your role in the party. Dont even run the shroud and let a DPS take your spot.

This is one reason 0-2 casters max are taken on shroud runs.
