Not anymore. I have ransacked that thing countless times trying to help friends get one and not a single has dropped in months.

When it was first added, man, it was dropping like 2-3 per group in there lol.

I would lean toward saying that the subterrane icy rainment drop rate is the same as the GOP drop rate. I have seen maybe 8 drops in 75 runs on grumblegut, my rogue, unfortunately he doen't have it yet. The last 6 run set I did none droped..

Hey at least you've SEEN them lol. I haven't seen a set once since the stealth nerf in there. (it was needed though really, I mean there were people looting them that didn;t need them because everyone had one in the party rofl. but i think they over did it in terms of lowering the drop rate.)

I will be running my 16 Ranger, Xxy, through Ghosts of Perdition a lot throughout the day and night.

I will keep the LFM up as well as long as I'm on and the group isn't full.

If you pull the Icy Raiment out of the end chest and pass it to me, I offer:

+2 Con/Wis/Str Tome (Choose 1, maybe)
1 Large Devil Scale
Maybe another Large?

Possibly something else?

I will close the thread if I get the Raiment.

I dont think IMO that you are offering enough, but maybe someone will take you up on it. I think 2 scales or 2 Tomes would be more fitting to someones time. Just my opinion mind you.

As for Ghost runs, BAH, I sacked it out with 5 friends 5 different times with no Rainments dropping (got tons of the other loot), so if they are still there (which I do not believe they are), good luck.

Sub runs are the way to go. Unbreakable has been running them on Tuesday nights sacking out 1 character each and every night we have pulled two Rainments, and it is a simple run if someone knows whats up and can lead the group. I am not sure if you are guilded yet, but that is the way to go IMO.

I sold my Icy Rainments for 1 million gold and 1 Large Scale. I wouldn't offer more than that when I need one in the future for my ranger.

I've ransacked the sub to the point of receiving no more loot, and even ran it quite a few more times after that.

I don't mind trading 2 tomes, but I only have one Large Devil Scale to my name.

I'm starting the GoP runs back up now. It's 8:50 est.

The deal still stands, possibly for more. Just send a tell to Sauce or Xxy in-game sometime today (2/17) with a ready GoP or Skelly group if you're willing.

Kickass had to run it 60 - 80 times until some kind soul pulled it for him.

Pure sadness the only guy in UB to NOT get a rainment is spewing his tear in this forum! Maybe you can hook up with Xxy and increase the luck... ROTFL... The only reason the crafted armor is better is it is the only armor he can obtain!!! HAHAHAHA...

on slash i have the rainment, but when i actually took the time to look at what u can put on a DT shroud, i decided i need to make one. if u put +4 insight ac on it, it becomes better than the rainment. a lot of people like to put +4 insight ac on a crafted weapon, but personally, i dont want my ac to be 4 higher with my min2s seeing as how i weild w/p weapons 90% of the time. if u would rather keep that contingient +4 ac, thats cool, not everyone is the same.

if u go for the DT shroud, here are the advantages. first u have 2 more tiers to work with. on slash im going +5 resistance and +1 exceptional dex. since item slots r tight, my rainment is my resistance item currently. the shroud will give me +2 to saves. after eating a +3 dex tome, the exc. dex will give me +1 to hit, ac and reflex saves. on top of all that, it is a +6 armor item. currently, the only +8 armor item in existance is in the form of bracers. this means that +8 armor bracers and chaosguard will do the exact same thing, and chaosguard is fairly easy to come by.

a lot of grinding will probably be necessary, im not sure as i have not started yet. i can assume, however, that you are fed up with grinding gop and the sub. running the new content seems a little less mind numbing, and easier to find people willing to hand over their runes for free.
