Default New to game and server

So I tried this game about a year ago and it just did not do it for me. So, I went back to you guessed it...WoW. After tiring of that I have wandered around the MMO landscape and something told me to try this out again...I had high hopes for the game as I played it growing up on pen/paper.

So after loading the game i tried the trial, and made it about 2 hours before buying it and subbing...am having a blast. I made a monk, am currently level 2, not sure about multiclassing yet, we will see. Anyway, just wanted to say hello, if any guilds need a acasual gamer who just wants to have fun under no pressure...please let me know.

My in game name is Rastas

Hope to see you in game.

i'll look out for you. My guild isn't a real guild so i can't help you there. However the 3 people in my immediate circle have toons in that guys level range, so we can pal around korthos and the harbor if i see you on.

Like Mhykke said, glad to see you enjoy the game.

So I am curious about repeating quests. I did all the level 1 on Solo, and have started to do some on Normal in Korthos...should I do them all on Normal and try and grind to level 2 or should I just leave Korthos town and move on?

    Welcome to the game.

If you haven't started grouping yet, Korthos is a great place to start. I recommend joining a group and getting them on elite, the favor will be useful to you later. (Each quest had "favor" for a particular house or group, that gets you additional rewards, such as additional backpack space from The Coin Lords, the main type of favor you get on Korthos and early in Stormreach)

If you are planning to stick to solo for a while, after you have norm jump Korthos and come to Stormreach.

    Talking welcome

Welcome back - I run a lowbie cleric on Argo from time to time (Theologius). I will keep an eye out for you. Not really in a guild per say at this point and time, but will be glad to help you out running some lower level stuff.

The great thing about Korthos Island is the lower level end rewards can be more useful than some of the Harbor low level quest rewards, definately better than the random chest loot. The favor is definately important to gain back pack space and the infamous 32 point build (if you are trying for it).

Hope to see you around Stormreach...
I believe in mind over matter. If I don't mind, it doesn't matter.

    Sarlona! Yep, back again.

well if you plan on solo'ing alot, it's not a horrible idea to do all the different difficulties you can handle, you get a xp bonus the first time you complete a quest on each difficulty...

Welcome to DDO dotsee! If you're keen on the soloing thing, spend some time maxing out the slayer xp on korthos and getting the rare encounters/explorers. If your guy is even vaguely melee-ish, you can get to the top xp surprisingly quickly (unlike some of the other wilderness areas, turbine designed this one with lots of bunches of mobs ).

Then progress to the cerulean hills in stormreach and repeat!
Some toons with Cow in the name, and some without.
