Loading problem

Earlier today I got stuck on a loading screen while teleporting. I exitted and restarted DDO but it won't get past the game loading screen. It gets stuck on "Cleanng up Old Connection"

Anyone know how to fix this problem? It also lists at 0.01kb/s which is extremely slow bt my regular internet connection functions properly.

my boyfriend and I have the same problem. We cannot get back on to Thelanis.
We logged onto Sarlona and submitted a ticket. An Admin tried to unlock our toons. I also reset our modem and rebooted all the pc's. Still cant log on to Thelanis

This problem is currently existing for myself and my guild on the Thelanis server. We all hung heading into a mission, (Whisperdoom part of Splinterskull) closed out, tried to get back in and now are stuck at the 'Cleaning up old connection...' screen. Every single one of us.

4 1/2 hours.
In game support person on Sarlona says they cant fix it. We need to submit a request for technical support. i have done this, and the reply email says customer service is available Monday through Friday. No weekend!!

I had this problem as well. A simple reboot of my computer appears to have taken care of the issue for me. Although, this problem has popped up on me more than once today and there are only so many times I want to restart my computer.

Have the same problem happening on one of my accounts. I seriously hope I do not have to wait till Monday to log onto that account.

Been stuck "cleaning up old data" for a good 20 min now. I rebooted already and restarted DDO multiple time. Others servers seem fine. >.>

having same problem, finally get my new computer after my last one died before xmas and really looking forward to playing online with my girlfriend and my guild, especially with the bonus weekend...but i can't log on to thelanis server for 5 hours now. in game support wont help. as you expect im mighty po'd. just my 2 cents.

having the same prob just now, except its on Khyber
EDIT: It didn't work, cuz i set DirectX 10 Graphics (BETA) cuz my comp wasn't compatible with that. Dont know if you have the same prob but try it

Just ran into the same problem. Got stuck loading out of Madstone. Quit out of DDO, and now my connection is all dirty.

When you get "cleanup old coonection" error you need to log onto another server and talk to a gm. Tell them the SERVER, Character, and cleaning up old connections and they should be able to fix it,. Last time I had this happend and the only time I had this happend I had to talk to a GM twice( got lucky and got the same GM twice so they already knew my problem.

20 minutes or so later it corrrected itself while i left it at the point it was stuck.
