QFT. We've answered you questions, but just because you and your "friend" have a different take on things doesn't mean that it is right. And for that matter, we are not claiming to be correct either. The only people who know for certain are the Forums Moderators and Devs. Now I have a pretty good relationship, or at least I think so with them, especially Tolero, but I don't always get a response, let alone a prompt response. They are busy people, with a lot more iportant things to do then to reply to every message taht they get from the players. If they did, they would never get any work done on the game.

Was he being more obnoxious than the people on this thread? Not you, but every forum I've ever been on would either have ignored everything, or half the people who have posted here would have permanent bans. I can't imagine what set of rules would allow the gross insults thrown around here, but come down on complaining about game changes.

So, how does one ignore someone on the forums anyway? Honestly, this **** has drawn too much of my attention, and I guess I'll go with the sensible action.

I'm fairly convinced that either this guy Kob is Feynman or Fey's non-autonomous android slave, designed only to promote his inebriated views across all the world in a vain attempt to outdo Hulu ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m71m-LBqFQ ) in their attempt at rotting humanity's collective brain cells.

A certain bespectacled halfling-pastry had an entire thread devoted to how much people were fed up with him and, while Fey here has not posted quite to prolifically, Fey has certainly been at least, if not more, abbrassive than the colon-clearing-cupcake ever has been. AND, this infamous bread-product at least seemed to take some note of people's disatisfaction and has been a more readable and addressable member of the community since. Yet, Fey and his "friend" ::cough:: puppet::cough:: have chosen to ignore both helpful advise and criticism, continuing to persist in filling the forums with his irritatingly innane idiocy (props for alliteration!).

I say everyone ban him and have done with it--helping him is no good, criticizing him is no good, reasoning isn't either. One may only hope that he make a lasting contribution to the world in the form of earning a Darwin Award.

Your friend was spamming the boards whining posts that had little to no merit and was likely reported multiple times and had his posts deleted by the cube. Since that appears to have been his intent, he must be happy.

Oh, and honestly, if your "friend" has put one of the game's developers, and there most helpful/vocal member at that, on his ignore list, he needs to realize just how in the wrong he is--how childish he has been.

So, insults and rudeness are obviously fair play here, as is repeatedly posting to a thread to bury what people have said under nonsense, but complaining because the rules are changing is grounds for heaps of abuse and having every post you ever wrote hidden? I don't know what the details are, but I just read a 23 page thread about some kind of bug fix, where the same 4 or 5 people would post insults and taunts over and over again, and now some of them are doing the same thing here.

I'm disappointed in you, steiner, because you started off trying to be helpful, but the question still hasn't been answered; if you don't know, that's fine, and I thank you for your help, but there seems to be some kind of compulsion to post inflammatory comments here, and I would hope that you would be better than that.

As for eladrin, if his posts are anything like the posts of the others from the list, I can hardly blame him for ignoring him.

I would suggest you do a search of the posts made by a majority of the posters on that list (me included) and observe the typical responses and discussion made by those posters. If you still think the majority of those posters or rude and insulting then I guess that's your opinion. However, I think you will find otherwise.

I am under no compulsion to do what you want. I'm not getting touchy. I simply see things differently then you do, and was simply trying to point those out. As for all those "gross insults" I think maybe, maybe, and I mean that is a BIG MAYBE, could be construed as an insult. But not likely.

Well unfortunately when people get bored or at work, they like to debate sometimes quite heatedly here on the forums. But that can be, and is quite different from what I think somepeople say your friend was doing. There is a difference between a valid gripe and spamming the board with complaints. I'm not familiar enough with what your friend was allegedly doing, so I'll give him some benefit of the doubt that it is somewhere in the middle.

I haven't read all of the messages in this thread, but could it be that the Turbine employee who announced the 6-month thread purge is in your ignore list and that many of your missing posts are actually purged along with everyone else's?

That would make sense, since he seemed to have missed the dialogue regarding the bug with the Minos Legens and its ensuing slate to be fixed.
