You are an outstanding clr. I have seen you on more then one time pull your weight in a raid or quest. As far as the Pinball runs and things like that, this person wants to say something to you let them come say it to me as they where my ideas and I will let them have more then a piece of my mind. I will say this. ()

It has been brought to my attention by an oh so friendly group leader that I, Death-o-rama queen is bringing shame to clerics everywhere and I am unfit to group with. While requesting to join a party I was denied entrance due to my inability to do my job right. Now he, who of course will remain unnamed, proceeds to inform me that he has never ran with me but my "idiotic stories" and "embarrassing pinball games" tell him plenty about me and my incompetence.

Now some of you who have known me since the beginning of the game may have at this point expected me to scream, yell, rant, curse, or toss out otherwise unproductive insults but I bit my tongue bar and chose to remain silent and let the matter drop seeing as I'm perfectly capable of soloing something or just finding another group. But alas it was not to be. For somewhere around twenty minutes he went on to reprimand me on my failings. I'm stupid, slow, lazy, rude?, etc etc. not forgetting of course to tell me exactly how people mistreating good clerics in this game is all my fault, and that I am ruining the game for healers game wide. I reply with a simple sorry to have bothered you, have a nice day and At that point I squelch him and intend to continue on with my night. but he must not have liked what I would deem a polite brush off since he has his party member start playing the middle man. Ending on a high note of "Your a waste of my time because your worthless and a moron and you swindle (who uses swindle anymore?) poor new players out of plat for supplies you neither buy nor use so you can pad your account"... Now I tried to drop the matter twice with no conflict but he apparently wants to either make me cry, which sorry pal but aint gonna happen, or make me mad which at long last he has succeeded.

2. I am good at what I do and have been for most likely much longer than you
3. I have less than a total of 200k on my entire account(kinda broke for a swindler)
4. Thank you very much!!!! I had no idea I was so powerful and important that anything I did could possibly influence the thousands of people that play ddo. its as much a compliment as I bet you can give.


So until further notice All Pinball is canceled do to my omnipotence affecting the game...

I have to agree with you Lainney, you are not a moron, but you maybe the worst Cleric ever because you keep dying when you should be healing. You have to learn to not be a "pinball" (not really sure how you can do this). It is gonna take a long time for you to improve the reputation of all the healers on server.

You have too much plat for a Cleric i suggest that you are not buying enough consumables. Maybe you are just using your Blue Bar. This is very disappionting, i mean really clerics are not supposed to have any money at all. This is just TOTALLY WRONG. Again you are giving all the clerics a bad name.

You are a great influence within the whole world and you are an example to everyone so i think you will have to pull your socks up (wouldnt it be cool to have socks in DDO). Toughen up my dear and get back to practising you clerical skills so you can be all that we expect of you.

I'm so sorry u had to be subjected to this waste of pixelated lifes comments.

As far as I am concerned, any player who accusses another of not doing "thier job", needs to solo a bit more and learn how to be more self sufficient. Cleric DOES NOT= healbot. Divine power, nasty offensive spells, high will saves and fortitude saves and decent HP per level, pffft....if more people would utilize all this instead of just wanting the heal hotkey spammed they would not need so many heals to begin with. As far as I am concerned, a cleric is a caster that can heal, not a healer who should only cast heal.

See what I mean, community is ruined by weak individuals.

Self sufficiency means more personal security, means more confidence, means a stronger player and less insecurtites, mean less critism towards other players because u can hold ur own. Any great player simply leaves a party if thier resources are being drained and leaves it at that, no insults or comments needed.

Now I know I could be wrong here, and it is the right for the "leader" (which IMHO is just the person motivated enough to form a party and after that really should not have leadership duties unless everyone agrees) to make the party however they want, but I can't help but to think when I see a group of people running a quest at thier level range on normal and the leader is a pure fighter or barbarian, and they have no cleric or wiz/sorc yet and that is all they have left in the LFM, that they think are entitled to a personal healer and hastebot. Let's face it, most quests on normal, except a handful, that are within the level range of the party +/- one or two can easily be run with any party makeup.

I bring this up because I could definately see this as the type of person that would bash a cleric for "not doing thier job"

There was a group of 5 monks with an LFM for WW normal. They were all lvl 3.

I sent them a tell asking if I could bring my lvl 5 CLR.

They said "No way man. clr's are gimped."

You can pretend to be "battle clerics", or blade barrier / destruct specialists, or whatever else you want -- but at the end of the day, you are a healbot and that's why the group brought you.

If the group ends up being self sufficient, then you can go back to playing whatever else you *think* you're good at...but otherwise, do your job, healbot.

I am new to the cleric (and the game) and I certainly have not heard a bad story about anyone...you'd think someone so powerful and influential would have NPC's talking about them or something...
